A display apparatus includes a first substrate having a display area and a non-display area; a pixel array layer provided on the display area of the first substrate; and a second substrate provided on the pixel array layer and having first and second grooves at side edges of the second substrate, wherein the first and second grooves are respectively located at first and second bending areas to facilitate a curvature radius of the end portions of the display and achieve a zero bezel display.

A display device includes a display panel, a back cover which is disposed on a bottom surface of the display panel and has a plurality of protrusions on both sides, and a plurality of protective blocks which is inserted into grooves of the plurality of protrusions on some sides of the back cover. The plurality of protective blocks includes a first part which has a protrusion at one side and a groove at another side, a second part which is opposite to the first part, a third part which connects the first part and the second part, and a fourth part which protrudes from the first part to the second part and is inserted into the grooves of the plurality of protrusions.

Currently described is a display that has a base layer, and on top of that base layer is a buffer layer with two exposed portions. The exposed portions are covered with a film. A pixel layer is placed between the two films, and a first substrate is attached to the pixel layer using an adhesive layer. The substrate is designed using either multiple thicknesses or grooves to facilitate a curvature radius of the end portions of the display to achieve a zero bezel display.

A flexible display panel is disclosed. The flexible display panel includes a substrate and a pixel unit on a first surface of the substrate. An encapsulation layer is on the first surface of the substrate and covers the pixel unit. A support member is on a second surface of the substrate that is opposite the first surface. The support member overlaps an edge of the encapsulation layer. The support member reduces stress applied to areas of the flexible display panel that are vulnerable to cracking during bending of the flexible display panel.

An organic light emitting display device and a complex film included in the organic light emitting display device are disclosed, which facilitates bending on a bending area and has optical characteristics of wide color gamut, whereby a stereoscopic effect may be improved. The transparent display device includes a transparent display panel including a plurality of transmissive areas transmitting incident light and a plurality of emissive areas emitting light, and a light control device disposed on a rear surface of the transparent display panel. The light control device is configured to be driven in a transmissive mode where the incident light is transmitted and a light shield mode where the incident light is blocked.
