Disclosed is a flow path switching device including: a case including a first nozzle into which fluid is introduced, a second nozzle through which fluid is discharged, a plurality of inner outflow pipes through which fluid supplied from the first nozzle flows, a plurality of inner inflow pipes through which the fluid supplied to the second nozzle flows, and a flow path connection portion in which a space is formed to communicate the plurality of inner outflow pipes with the first nozzle or to communicate the plurality of inner inflow pipes with the second nozzle; a valve rotatably disposed in the space of the flow path connection portion, and having a first chamber connecting one of the plurality of inner inflow pipes and the first nozzle according to placement, and a second chamber connecting one of the plurality of inner outflow pipes and the second nozzle; and a motor disposed in one side of the valve and rotating the valve. Each of the first nozzle, the inner outflow pipe, and the flow path connection portion forms a flow path perpendicular to each other inside. A first chamber hole connecting the first chamber and a nozzle flow path formed inside the first nozzle is formed in the valve. A cross-sectional area of the nozzle flow path is reduced to a size corresponding to the first chamber hole from an inlet portion of the first nozzle towards the flow connection portion.

Flow path switching device

A flow path switching device of the present disclosure includes a case comprising a first nozzle into which fluid flows from an indoor unit, a second nozzle which sends fluid to the indoor unit, a plurality of inner outflow pipes through which fluid supplied from the first nozzle flows, a plurality of inner inflow pipes through which the fluid supplied to the second nozzle flows, and a flow path connection portion in which a space is formed to communicate the plurality of inner outflow pipes with the first nozzle or to communicate the plurality of inner inflow pipes with the second nozzle; a valve which is rotatably disposed in the space of the flow path connection portion, and has a first chamber connecting one of the plurality of inner inflow pipes and the first nozzle according to disposition, and a second chamber connecting one of the plurality of inner outflow pipes and the second nozzle according to disposition; and a motor which is disposed in one side of the valve, and rotates the valve, wherein the plurality of inner outflow pipes and the plurality of inner inflow pipes are disposed in the same one side direction of the flow path connection portion and are spaced apart from each other in a direction in which a rotation shaft around which the valve rotates is formed.

The present invention relates to a dishwasher that can save wash water for cleaning and a method of controlling the dishwasher. A method of controlling a dishwasher according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention is a method of controlling a dishwasher having a circulation channel through which wash water is supplied to wash a plurality of arms by a wash pump after collecting the wash water, sprayed in to a tub from the plurality of wash arms, in a sump, and the method includes: performing a first water-supplying for supplying a predetermined amount of wash water into the dishwasher by opening a water supply valve; performing a first washing where the plurality of wash arms spray the wash water into the tub to be circulated by operating the wash pump; performing a first draining for saving recycling wash water as much as the volume of the circulation channel and draining the rest of the wash water to the outside of the dishwasher by operating the wash pump and the drain pump; and performing a second water-supplying for supplying the amount of wash water except the amount of the recycling wash water from a predetermined amount of wash water into the dishwasher by opening the water supply valve.

The adjustment part is disposed on the frame and adjusts a height of at least one side of the basket by adjusting a vertical position of the stopping protrusion.

A dishwasher includes a wash tub, a lower basket, a first upper basket, a second upper basket, and movement parts. The wash tub defines a space in which dishes are washed. The lower basket is disposed in the wash tub. The first upper basket is disposed over the lower basket inside the wash tub to define a first lower reception space together with the lower basket. The second upper basket is disposed over the lower basket side by side with the first upper basket to define a second lower reception space. The movement parts move the first upper basket above or below the second upper basket to increase the first lower reception space.

The present invention relates to a flow passage change-over unit provided to a spray arm of a dishwasher having a plurality of channels, including a change-over unit body for making reciprocating movement according to a water pressure, a body rotating unit secured to an circumferential surface of the change-over unit body for rotating the change-over unit body, and channel opening holes in a closed side of the change-over unit body for opening some of the plurality of supply holes according to a rotation angle of the change-over unit body.

A dishwasher includes a wash tub, a basket, a frame, and adjustment parts. The wash tub defines a space in which dishes are washed. The basket receives dishes. The frame is disposed inside the wash tub and configured to receive the basket. The adjustment parts are rotatably disposed on a side surface of the frame adjust a height of at least one end of the basket by lifting at least one end of the basket from the frame.

The dishwasher may include a tub forming a washing space, a rack received in the washing space of the tub and having an accommodating space to receive items to be washed, and a support provided in the accommodating space of the rack to receive and support the items to be washed.
