A display device includes: a display panel including a data line, a sensing line, and a pixel electrically connected to the data line and the sensing line; a data driver including a sensing part, and for applying a data voltage to the data line, wherein the sensing part is for receiving a signal of the sensing line and to output sensing data; a temperature sensor sensing a current temperature; and a timing controller for selecting a correction lookup table for the current temperature from among correction lookup tables for temperatures, correcting an output deviation of the sensing part based on the correction lookup table for the current temperature, and compensating for input image data based on the sensing data.

Display device and method of compensating for an image of the display device

A display device includes a display panel including a pixel, a temperature sensor which senses a temperature of the display panel and outputs the temperature of the display panel as a sensing temperature, a first compensation part which receives a gate-source voltage sensed in the pixel as a sensing voltage and compensates for the sensing voltage by a change amount of the gate-source voltage corresponding to a difference value between a reference temperature and the sensing temperature, and a second compensation part which compensates for data to be applied to the pixel by comparing a compensated sensing voltage with an initial gate-source voltage.

Display device and driving method thereof

A display device including a display panel including a base substrate, a plurality of pixels disposed on the base substrate, and a plurality of panel pad rows that are spaced apart from the pixels in a first direction. Each of the panel pad rows includes a plurality of panel pads arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction in a perpendicular manner, a connecting circuit board disposed on the display panel and connected to the panel pads, and a connection member disposed between the display panel and the connecting circuit board to electrically connect the display panel to the connecting circuit board. A minimum-spaced distance between an edge of the base substrate and the panel pads adjacent thereto may be optimized to improve an adhesion property and an electrical connection reliability between the panel pads and the connecting circuit board.

Display device

A display apparatus includes a backlight part including a backlight unit and a panel part including a display panel. The panel part is operated in a first state in which the display panel is substantially aligned with the backlight part or in a second state in which the display panel is not substantially aligned with the backlight part. The display panel receives the light from the backlight unit in the first state and receives an external light in the second state.
