A manufacturing method of a mother substrate assembly includes forming a metal layer on substantially an entire surface of a transparent substrate including a cell area including a non-display area and a display area, an align key area, and a substrate area surrounding the cell area and the align key area, etching the metal layer to form an align key in the align key area, etching the metal layer to form a reflection part in the non-display area, and etching the metal layer in the display area to form a metal nanowire in the display area.

Method of manufacturing mother substrate assembly

A display apparatus includes a display panel, a backlight unit, and a capturing unit. The display panel includes a polarizing plate having a first polarizing axis parallel to a first direction, an isotropic diffuser including an anisotropic region having a transmission axis parallel to the first direction and a diffusing axis parallel to a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the polarizing plate and the anisotropic diffuser. The backlight unit is disposed at a rear side of the anisotropic diffuser and generates a first light linearly polarized in the second direction. A method for manufacturing a polarizer may include forming a first barrier and a second barrier on a surface of a metal layer. The method may further include providing a copolymer layer between the first barrier and the second barrier. The method may further include processing the copolymer layer to form a processed polymer layer that includes first-polymer portions and second-polymer portions that are alternately disposed. The method may further include removing the second-polymer portions from the processed polymer layer to form polymer members that are spaced from each other. The method may further include etching the metal layer, using at least the polymer members, the first barrier, and the second barrier as a mask, to form a plurality of first-type wires and a plurality of second-type wires.

A 3D image display apparatus includes a light modulator configured to modulate an image light, a difference map generator configured to obtain an absolute value of a difference between a variation value of a left 2D image and a variation value of a right 2D image, an image processor configured to generate 3D image display position information using the absolute value, a light modulator controller configured to partially activate the light modulator in response to the 3D image display position information, an image generator for generating an interlaced image using the left and right 2D images, and an image display device for displaying the interlaced image. Light guide plate and display apparatus having the same

A touch sensing apparatus includes a light source generating a light. The light travels though a light distribution part. A light guide part guides the light to the light distribution part. A light sensing part outputs an output signal corresponding to an intensity of the light incident through the light guide part and the light distribution part when a touch occurs. A light reflection part reflects the light provided to the light distribution part, and a coordinate generating part calculates a coordinate value of the touch using the output signal from the light sensing part.
