A composite product having a junction structure includes a first unit formed of a composite material, a first connector formed of a metal and provided with one end inserted into one end of the first unit and formed integrally with the first unit and another end extending outwards from the first unit, a second unit formed of a composite material, and a second connector formed of a metal and provided with one end inserted into one end of the second unit and formed integrally with the second unit and another end extending outwards from the second unit, wherein the other end of the first connector and the other end of the second connector are joined and fixed by welding under a condition that the ends of the first unit and the second unit are opposite each other adjacently.

Composite product with junction structure

Discribed is an impact-absorbing reinforcement structure for center pillars including a high-strength section, a medium-strength section and a low-strength section, divided from each other and integrally formed. The high-strength section is composed of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) formed by impregnating carbon fiber with a resin and is disposed at the upper region of a vehicle center pillar; the low-strength section is composed of a composite material formed by impregnating carbon fiber and olefin-based fiber with a resin, has lower strength than the high-strength section and is disposed at a lower region of the vehicle center pillar; and the medium-strength section is composed of a composite material formed by impregnating carbon fiber and olefin-based fiber with a resin, has strength between the strength of the high-strength section and the low-strength section and is disposed at a central region of the vehicle center pillar.

A vehicular underframe structure may an include a lower panel including a composite material and having a central portion curved upwards along a longitudinal direction thereof; an upper panel including a composite material and combined on the lower panel wherein an undersurface thereof faces an upper surface of the lower panel with an internal compartment formed therebetween; and a rib portion provided in the internal compartment and having a lower rib integrally protruding upwards from the upper surface of the lower panel and an upper rib integrally protruding downwards from the undersurface of the upper panel.
