The light-emitting element comprises a first semiconductor layer doped with an n-type dopant, a second semiconductor layer doped with a p-type dopant, a light-emitting layer disposed between the first semiconductor layer and second semiconductor layer, an electrode layer disposed on the second semiconductor layer, an insulating structure disposed on the electrode layer and having a maximum diameter smaller than a diameter of the electrode layer and an insulating film that surrounds side surfaces of the first semiconductor layer, the light-emitting layer, and the second semiconductor layer.

A surface area of the first surface may be less than that of the second surface. A top surface of the organic pattern may be a curved surface.

Provided is a polarizer. The polarizer includes a base layer and a wire grid layer which is disposed on the base layer and which include a plurality of wire metal patterns extending along a first direction and spaced apart from each other along a second direction crossing the first direction, wherein the wire grid layer is made of an aluminum (Al) alloy containing nickel (Ni) and lanthanum (La).

Liquid crystal display

A wire grid polarizer including a substrate, parallel conductive wire patterns which protrude from a top surface of the substrate, non-conductive wire patterns which are formed on the conductive wire patterns, respectively, and a protective layer which is formed on the conductive wire patterns and the non-conductive wire patterns. The protective layer includes first transparent particles having a diameter greater than a period of the conductive wire patterns, and spaces between the conductive wire patterns are filled with air or are evacuated to form a vacuum.
