Disclosed herein is a high-pressure scroll compressor, in response to a discharged refrigerant flowing into a back pressure chamber, capable of directly discharging the refrigerant to a space inside a main body, and capable of maintaining an intermediate pressure of the back pressure chamber to be less than a discharge pressure of the refrigerant by separately providing a discharge flow path in the back pressure chamber. The high-pressure scroll compressor comprises a main body, a fixed scroll fixed inside the main body, an orbiting scroll engaged with the fixed scroll to perform a relative orbiting motion, and forming a compression chamber with the fixed scroll, a main frame located under the orbiting scroll and including a back pressure chamber filled with an intermediate-pressure refrigerant, a back pressure hole provided in the orbiting scroll and provided to allow the compression chamber to communicate with the back pressure chamber, a bypass portion configured to selectively bypass the refrigerant of the compression chamber to a space inside the main body, and a back pressure chamber discharge portion configured to selectively discharge the refrigerant of the back pressure chamber to the space inside the main body.

High pressure scroll compressor

A variable capacity scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll. The fixed scroll of the compressor includes a bypass flow path configured to connect a suction unit to a compression unit, a cylinder space provided on the bypass flow path, and an on/off valve disposed to be movable back and forth in the cylinder space to open/close the bypass flow path according to a difference between a discharge pressure of the discharge unit and a suction pressure of the suction unit. Thus a capacity of the compressor may be reduced by connecting the suction unit to the compression unit under a low load condition in which a difference between a discharge pressure and a suction pressure is relatively less.

Disclosed herein is an a compressor including a main body, a fixed scroll fixed on the inside of the main body, an orbiting scroll arranged to orbit relative to the fixed scroll, a compressing chamber formed by the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll, an oil supply hole arranged to supply oil to a contact portion formed by the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll, and an oil groove formed on an inner side of the contact portion to be closed to an outer side of the contact portion. The oil groove is extended into the form of an arc by being rotated by about 270 degrees or more along the circumference of the fixed scroll to cover the compressing chamber from the outside of the compressing chamber to supply oil all across the area of the contact portion easier which leads to more reliable operation of the compressor.

Provided is a scroll compressor having an improved structure in which reliability of a compression portion can be enhanced. The scroll compressor includes a compression unit that compresses a refrigerant introduced into a body, wherein the compression unit may include: a fixed scroll fixed into the body and having an ejection hole and a fixed wrap placed at an outside of the ejection hole; and an orbiting scroll orbiting with respect to the fixed scroll and having an orbiting wrap that constitutes a compression chamber together with the fixed wrap, and wherein the orbiting wrap may include: an outer contact portion formed at an outside surface of the orbiting wrap and being adjacent to the ejection hole; and an inner contact portion formed at an inside surface of the orbiting wrap, being adjacent to the ejection hole and connected to the outer contact portion, and the compression chamber includes a first compression chamber formed when the outer contact portion contacts a first position of an inside surface of the fixed wrap at an ejection starting time of the refrigerant, and the outer contact portion is connected to the inner contact portion along a circumference of a first center circle formed to contact the first position at the ejection starting time of the refrigerant, and a center of the first center circle is placed on a normal line of the first position.
