A driving device of an electroluminescent display apparatus, including a display panel where a pixel line including a set of pixels is provided in plurality, includes a pixel line determiner configured to select a representative pixel line, disposed at a position at which an accumulation stress caused by repetitive display of an input image is largest, from among all pixel lines, an over driving control controller configured to select a sample pixel characteristic value from among pixel characteristic values of the representative pixel line and selectively output a first ODC control signal and a second ODC control signal, based on a magnitude of the sample pixel characteristic value, and a sensing and driving circuit configured to pre-sense pixel characteristic values of the representative pixel line in the first sensing period, perform ODC sensing on the pixel characteristic values of the all pixel lines once each according to the first ODC control signal in a second sensing period succeeding the first sensing period, and perform the ODC sensing on the pixel characteristic values of the all pixel lines a plurality of times each according to the second ODC control signal in the second sensing period, wherein a sensing data voltage supplied to each pixel of the all pixel lines has multi-voltage levels, in the second sensing period for the ODC sensing.

A display device including a display panel includes a sub-pixel connected to a data line and a reference line, and a data driver including a panel driving circuit and a panel sensing circuit, wherein during a first sensing operation of a ADC of the panel sensing circuit, the panel sensing circuit supplies a first reference voltage to the display panel through the reference line and converts a voltage that is sensed through the reference line in into a digital signal using the analog-to-digital converter, and during a second sensing operation of an element included in the sub-pixel, the panel sensing control circuit supplies a second reference voltage to the display panel through the reference line and the panel driving circuit supplies the data voltage to the display panel through the data lineoffset correction.

Data driver, organic light emitting display device and method for driving thereof

A display device and a power monitoring circuit. The power monitoring circuit monitors whether or not first power is ordinarily output from a power management integrated circuit (PMIC). When the first power is not ordinarily output, the power monitoring circuit outputs an error detection signal indicative of an abnormality in the PMIC to a main controller. The display device includes the power monitoring circuit. The operating state of the PMIC supplying power required for the driving of a display panel can be monitored.

The present exemplary embodiments relate to devices and methods of processing data obtained by sensing a characteristic parameter of a sub pixel. A controller which receives a first clock signal and sensing data output from a data driver generates a second clock signal having a same phase as the first clock signal and outputs image data that is compensated based on the sensing data in accordance with the generated second clock signal to the data driver. By doing this, the controller generates the second clock signal using a part of the first clock signal output from the data driver and transmits the image data so that a skew or signal distortion which may be generated at the time of transmitting/receiving data is suppressed to improve sensing and compensation precision and suppress an image abnormality due to the sensing and compensation failure.
