A method of operating a private network includes obtaining channel requirement information indicating a bandwidth of a channel, obtaining available channel information indicating Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) frequency bands and non-CBRS frequency bands available to be allocated to the channel, selecting one or more of the CBRS frequency bands and one or more of first non-CBRS frequency bands based on the channel requirement information, generating channel aggregation information indicating the selected CBRS and non-CBRS frequency bands, generating transmission power level information for the selected CBRS and non-CBRS frequency bands, transmitting the channel aggregation information and the transmission power level information, receiving the first channel aggregation information and the first transmission power level information at an access point device, and transmitting data in the channel using the selected CBRS and non-CBRS frequency bands from the access point device based on the first transmission power level information.

Private network management including licensed and unlicensed radio unit channel aggregation orchestration

An apparatus comprises a memory and a processor communicatively coupled to one another. The memory may be configured to store a data lake and multiple existing spectrum administration service (SAS) configuration commands. The processor may be configured to perform first SAS operations in accordance with the existing SAS configuration commands, collect multiple channel parameters from one or more communication channels configured to provide connectivity between user equipment and a core network, store the channel parameters in the data lake, monitor the channel parameters in the data lake, and generate optimized SAS configuration commands based at least in part upon the channel parameters. Further, the processor is configured to compare the optimized SAS configuration commands to the existing SAS configuration commands and perform second SAS operations in accordance with the optimized SAS configuration commands.

System and method to generate optimized spectrum administration service (SAS) configuration commands

A method and apparatus for geofencing a user equipment in relation to a priority access license (PAL) protection area of a citizens broadband radio service device (CBSD) are provided. The CBSD operates on a channel of a Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) band. A user equipment provisioning server receives an indication of the PAL protection area associated with the CBSD. The user equipment provisioning server provisions the user equipment to limit the user equipment to operating within the PAL protection area or exclude the user equipment from operating within the PAL protection area.

Geofencing using a priority access license protection area

Disclosed is a method performed by a first Access Point (AP) device of a private network that communicates with a fifth-generation New Radio (5G NR) cellular telecommunication radio access network (RAN). The method includes transmitting one or more first messages using a first licensed frequency band; receiving one or more second messages using the first licensed frequency band; receiving data for a user equipment device; determining a second AP device of the private network to which the data for the user equipment device is to be transmitted based on the one or more second messages; and transmitting the data for the user equipment device to the second AP device of the private network using a second licensed frequency band or an unlicensed frequency band.

A Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) system can receive, from a mobile device, a request to establish a communicative connection, and in response to receiving the request, cause an embedded subscriber identity module (eSIM) of the device to be provisioned with a priority level of wireless service. The system can change the priority level of the eSIM based, at least in part, on assessment of the device's activity in accordance with one or more prioritization criteria, and cause establishment or adjustment of the communicative connection of the device in accordance with the priority level.
