The invention relates to encapsulated rubber additives in the form of microcapsules having a polymer capsule wall and a core which comprises at least one rubber additive. The invention likewise relates to a method for the production of microcapsules of this type. The microcapsules according to the invention are used during vulcanization of natural and synthetic rubbers.

Microencapsulated rubber additives and method for production thereof

The invention relates to microcapsules made of a core which contains at least one rubber additive and of a shell made of a first polymer. At least one coating made of a second polymer, which differs from the first polymer, and/or of a low molecular inorganic or organic compound, is deposited on the surface of the microcapsules as sliding or wearing layer in order to reduce the static friction.

Microcapsules used for producing rubber and method for their production

A process is provided for manufacturing homo- and copolyesters of lactic acid by ring scission polymerization of its cyclic monomers in the presence of an initiator. Polymerization is carried out in the molten phase in the presence of an initiator system containing a compound of tin and at least one additional initiator chosen from the compounds of metal of the fourth subgroup.
