A lip care moisturizing product in the form of a water-in-oil emulsion, containing at least one fatty acid ester, at least one wax, the total of said at least one fatty acid ester and said at least one wax being at least about 1.0%, liposomes containing water therein, and an emulsifier. The emulsifier is preferably a mixture of behenoyl stearate and sodium borate, and the liposomes preferably contain a mixture of water and glycerin.

A dual regimen acne treatment package includes an outer container, and disposed within the outer container first and second inner containers which are separate from each other. Each of the inner containers has an exposed dispensing means, the first inner container containing a solubilized salicylic acid acne treatment composition, and the second inner container containing a solubilized benzoyl peroxide acne treatment composition.

Acne treatment including dual-package system

A substantially alcohol-free composition for treatment of acne contains about 0.05 to 26% by weight salicylic acid and about 0.05 to 28% by weight of a solubilizing agent for the salicylic acid, which is sodium tetraborate, sodium carbonate or sodium bicarbonate, dissolved in a cosmetically acceptable aqueous medium.

Acne treatment compositions

A composition for topical aerosol application contains, by weight, a) about 20 to 90% of an active mixture in the form of a solution, gel or lotion with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide as active ingredient, and optionally, a polymeric thickening agent for a gel or lotion, and b) about 10 to 80% of a propellant system which includes dimethyl ether. The composition has a temperature in the range of 3 to 25&deg; C. when dispensed.

Acne treatment composition with cooling effect

A composition is provided for the treatment of dermal burns and is composed of a homogeneous solution of skin conditioners, anesthetics, water, and alcohol in combination with dimethyl ether. The use of dimethyl ether as the propellant and solvent forms a homogeneous solution of ingredients which otherwise have little solubility in each other. This formulation also cools the skin when applied, significantly improving the healing of the burns. A pressurized aerosol container is also provided having a metered dose valve for accurately dispensing metered doses of the dermal burn composition to optimize treatment and prevent freezing of the skin.
