A reamer drill bit includes a body having an outer surface defining a plurality of grooves, and a cutter arm with an interior surface. Each groove extends from a first end of the body to a second end of the body and has at least one groove recess, at least one groove peak connected by a sloped section, and a track arranged in the sloped section. The cutter arm is slidably attached to the body, is configured to expand radially away from the body, and is configured to slide longitudinally relative to the body along the track. The interior surface of the cutter arm includes at least one arm valley, and at least one arm protrusion. The at least one groove recess receives the at least one arm protrusion and the at least one arm valley receives the at least one groove peak.

In an example method a system obtains first data regarding a first oil well, including one or more first thermal images of the oil well generated by one or more first thermal cameras. The system determines, using computerized neural network, a presence of a gas leak at one or more locations on the first oil well based on the first data. The one or more locations include at least one of a first location along a pipeline configured to convey gas to a flare area of the first oil well, or a second location at a rig floor of the first oil well. In response to determining the presence of the gas leak at the one or more locations, the system generates a notification indicating the presence of the gas leak at the one or more locations.

A method may include determining, using a user credential, that a user associated with a user device is authorized to operate a predetermined valve at a well. The method may further include obtaining, from the user device, a request to operate the predetermined valve. The method may further include determining that no users are located within a predetermined valve area proximate the predetermined valve using image data. The image data may be obtained from a camera device in the predetermined valve area. The method may further include determining that no obstacles are present inside the predetermined valve area based on well operation data. The method may further include transmitting a command to a control system coupled to the predetermined valve, where the command causes the control system to operate the predetermined valve.

Method and system for managing valves in an oil and gas well

A method includes running a wired tubing having perforating arms, a packer, and a scanner into a casing string having an annulus. A portion of the annulus that is void of cement is determined using the scanner. The packer is activated to isolate a downhole section of the casing string from an up-hole section of the casing string. A plurality of holes are punched in the up-hole section of the casing string by ejecting the perforating arms from the wired tubing. The annulus of the casing string is cemented by pumping cement through the plurality of holes into the portion of the annulus void of cement.

A system for acid treating a section of a well includes a wireline or slickline extending from a surface of the well into the well and a bailer tool assembly attached to an end of the wireline or slickline. The bailer tool assembly includes a first piston positioned in a first piston housing at an axial end of at least one bailer, the first piston being slidable through the at least one bailer, at least one rotatable nozzle positioned at a lower end of the bailer tool assembly and fluidly connected to a fluid reservoir in the at least one bailer, and a depth indicator tool attached to an upper end of the bailer tool assembly.

While cutting into the sidewall of the wellbore using the sidewall coring bits, fluid is circulated through the wellbore. The sidewall core samples are received within the storage chamber.
