A method for processing a candidate digital image includes defining a set of noteworthy points in the candidate digital image. A set of at least three noteworthy points is selected to comprise a notable departure point, a notable arrival point, and a third notable point not aligned with the notable departure point and the notable arrival point. A set of at least one route, between the notable departure point and the notable arrival point, is defined. The route passes through all of the selected notable points. Local characteristics, of the pixels located along the route, are extracted. The signal, corresponding to the variation in the magnitude of the local characteristics as a function of each pixel along each defined route, is recorded in the form of a fingerprint.

Method for processing digital images

An image processing method, for an identity document that comprises a data page, comprises acquiring a digital image of the page of data of the identity document. The method further comprises assigning a class or a super-class to the candidate identity document via automatic classification of the digital image by a machine-learning algorithm trained beforehand on a set of reference images in a training phase; processing the digital image to obtain a set of at least one intermediate image the weight of which is lower than or equal to the weight of the digital image; applying discrimination to the intermediate image using a discriminator neural network; and generating an output signal as output from the discriminator neural network, the value of which is representative of the probability that the candidate identity document is an authentic document or a fake.

Image processing method for an identity document

The invention relates to a method for authenticating an illustration, comprising&#x2014;encoding a message in the form of a two-dimensional barcode comprising blocks, each block coding a fragment of said message and comprising a set of coding sub-blocks, each sub-block comprising a set of binary elements. It is essentially characterised in that the encoding comprises prior steps consisting in:&#x2014;defining or identifying a set of noteworthy points in the illustration,&#x2014;calculating a set of attributes depending on certain at least of the noteworthy points,&#x2014;selecting, among the calculated attributes, at least one attribute allowing a digital fingerprint to be defined&#x2014;optionally compressing said digital fingerprint,&#x2014;optionally signing said digital fingerprint by means of a cryptographic signature, and&#x2014;recording in the message one among:&#x2014;a set of at least one attribute,&#x2014;the digital fingerprint,&#x2014;the compressed digital fingerprint, and&#x2014;the signed and optionally compressed digital fingerprint.

Method for authenticating an illustration

The disclosure relates to a method for encoding an illustration, which involves writing the illustration in greyscale or in color, encoding a message in the form of a two-dimensional barcode comprising a set of blocks, each block encoding a fragment of the message and comprising a set of (M) rows and (N) columns, and each block comprising a set of encoding sub-blocks, each subblock comprising a set of bits. It is essentially characterized in that the encoding step comprises defining or identifying a set of remarkable points on the source illustration, calculating a set of attributes according to certain remarkable points, selecting, among the set of attributes, at least one attribute making it possible to define a digital fingerprint, optionally compressed, optionally sign the digital fingerprint, record in the message one of at least one attribute, the digital fingerprint, optionally compressed, the signed digital fingerprint in compressed or non-compressed form.
