A computer-implemented method for flange integrity classification using artificial intelligence is described. The method includes obtaining images of a flange, wherein an image of the images is captured at a predetermined angle of image capture. The method includes classifying a condition of the flange using a trained machine learning model. Further, the method includes rendering an indication of the condition of the flange.

A well tool for removing an expandable liner in a wellbore includes a substantially cylindrical tool body oriented about a longitudinal axis, a blade edge connected to the tool body and positioned along a radial perimeter of the tool body, and a blade system connected to the tool body and including a base plate and multiple blades connected to the base plate. The blade edge is positioned at a longitudinal end of the tool body. The multiple blades are oriented about the longitudinal axis on the base plate.

Systems and methods for dynamically magnetizing a chassis of a robotic vehicle are provided. The system can include a chassis having a fixed first section with a first magnet, and a moveable a second section having a second magnet with an opposition orientation relative to the first magnet. The second section is located above or below the first section and includes a mechanism that moves the second section relative to the first magnet. The system also includes an actuator connected to the second section, and a control system operatively connected to the actuator. In the systems and methods, the control system can send commands to the actuator to selectively move the mechanism, thereby moving the second section relative to the location of the first magnet to activate or inactivate a magnetic force on a portion of the chassis.

A tool for use in a wellbore includes an annular body having an inner flow passage extending axially therethrough, at least one gripping member positioned around an outer perimeter of a retainer section of the annular body, and a gate member positioned in the inner flow passage. When the gate member is in a closed configuration, an upstream portion of the inner flow passage is sealed from a downstream portion of the inner flow passage by the gate member. When the gate member is in an open configuration, the upstream portion of the inner flow passage is fluidly connected to the downstream portion of the inner flow passage. At least one static mixing blade extends through the downstream portion of the inner flow passage to mix fluid when it flows through the open gate member.

Method and apparatus for downhole in-situ mixing using dual, concentric flow channels

A rig site may include a rotary table within a rig floor above a wellbore. A fabric sheet rolled into two symmetrical rolls is disposed on the rig floor. A pre-cut center hole of the fabric sheet is coaxial with the rotary table. A casing string, to be lowered in the wellbore, includes a first casing joint at a bottom of the casing string is a modified float joint. The pre-cut center hole of the fabric sheet is attached to a sleeve of the modified float joint. Union units are provided above the rotary table. The union units close the fabric sheet around the casing string to form a fabric-nested casing string within the wellbore. A cement slurry is pumped down the casing string and into a space between the fabric sheet and the casing string to cement the fabric-nested casing string to the wellbore.

System and method for running and cementing fabric-nested casing

A wellbore assembly includes a wellbore string disposed within a wellbore and a cement retainer coupled to a downhole end of the wellbore string. The cement retainer includes a housing, a packer, a valve, and a sleeve. The housing includes one or more fluid ports extending from an interior surface of the housing to the annulus. The housing defines a first fluid pathway extending from within the wellbore string to within the housing. The sleeve is movable between a first position, in which the sleeve blocks the one or more fluid ports, and a second position in which the sleeve exposes the one or more fluid ports to open a second fluid pathway extending from the annulus, through the one or more fluid ports, to the first fluid pathway. Opening the second fluid pathway allows mixing of a first fluid with a second fluid in the cement retainer.

Downhole mixing of wellbore treatment fluids

A mechanical autonomous pipe cutting system for cutting a pipe in a wellbore includes a locking unit that prevents the system from moving within the pipe when engaged to an inner surface of the pipe, a punching unit that moves a plurality of punching elements radially relative to an axis of the system, and a cutting unit that is designed to sever the pipe. The locking unit, the punching unit, and the cutting unit are attached to a body of the mechanical autonomous pipe cutting system. The body includes a motor that rotates the cutting unit. The mechanical autonomous pipe cutting system further includes a sensor module that detects interactions between the pipe and walls of the wellbore and a control unit in electronic communication with the sensor module, the locking unit, and the punching unit. The control unit actuates the locking unit and operates the punching unit subsequent to identifying a location where interaction between the pipe and the walls of the wellbore limits a downhole movement of the pipe based on an output of the sensor module.

Mechanical autonomous punch and cut system

A rotational continuous circulation system and methods includes a circulation sub having an internal bore extending along a central axis. The circulation sub has an uphole body having a reduced outer diameter along a downhole length of the uphole body. A central valve selectively opens and closes the uphole internal bore. At least one check valve is located within a sidewall of the uphole body to selectively allow fluid to flow into the uphole internal bore through the at least one check valve. A downhole body has an uphole portion circumscribing a downhole portion of the uphole body. A sleeve assembly circumscribes the reduced outer diameter of the uphole body. The uphole body and the downhole body are configured to rotate about the central axis independently from the sleeve assembly. A side-entry port of the sleeve assembly provides a fluid flow path from an exterior of the sleeve assembly to the at least one check valve.
