The method for obfuscating hardware partially imitates the neural network perceptron, obfuscating the hardware design. This method obfuscates the design functionality and immunes integrated circuits against Trojan insertion. This method can also be used to check for the existence of faults inside chips. This method resolves the concern related to security and reliability when outsourcing the manufacture of integrated circuits.

Method for obfuscation of hardware

This invention comprises a panel or system of panels. Each panel comprises a top layer, which is comprised of tempered glass that is highly transparent to allow for maximum light wave transmission. These solar light waves are captured by the photovoltaic cell which comprises the second layer of the panel where this solar energy is converted into usable electrical energy. Vibrations experienced by the photopiezoelectric panel due to foot and lightweight vehicle traffic are absorbed by the PZT sheet layer, which is the third layer of the panel where they are converted into usable electrical energy. The fourth and final layer of the panel consists of the connector plate which serves as the hub and interconnection for gathering the generated electrical energies and transmitting them into the modular grid network to be consumed by various load devices, such as streetlights and other power-dependent city infrastructure.

Photopiezoelectric panel

A concentric CRR sensor is claimed that is used as a form of currency verification in order to combat counterfeiting currency. The system comprises applying sets of concentric CRR printed with transparent conductive ink. In one embodiment, using the CRR as a passive RFID tag, changing the ring's radii, inner or outer, and in turn, created more encryption, and thereby prevents currency counterfeiting. In one or more embodiments, the serial number of the currency bill is used as a guideline to a selection algorithm to determine the size of the radii.

Method for currency validation

The method for creating integrated circuits (IC) protects the design of a manufactured IC from being copied or counterfeited. This method protects the design of an IC chip from deliberate copying and counterfeiting by reverse engineering to gain access to the critical points in the IC chip and to siphon its functions and design. The method makes the copying, counterfeiting, and controlling by addition of Trojan circuits during manufacturing almost impossible task. It also allows chip designers to outsource the final bonding of the tiers without any fears that their design may get compromised.

Method for the non-copyable manufacture of integrated circuits

The Cascaded Wind Turbine is a new concept of wind turbine design featuring multiple hubs in succession, each hub segment adds another tier that create a cascading blade configuration. Each blade set is connected to a separate rotor via a telescopic shaft.

The technique further comprises forming tiny aerogel particles on the wafer and networking the particles together just by exposure to air during spin coating. The novelty of this technique is not limited to the processing of thin film and thick film silica aerogel.

An ultra dense and ultra low power microhotplates using silica aerogel and method of making the same, comprising spin coating an aerogel layer followed by SiOas capping interlayer, and Nichrome (Ni/Cr) for heating element to increase the efficiency of metal oxide gas sensors. There may be multiple thin layers of aerogel separated by interlayers such as of SiO.

A debit card read/write controller. The controller comprises a microcontroller device, a read only memory, a dynamically random access memory and a read/write head for reading and writing onto a magnetic card media contained on a magnetic striped card. The microcontroller device includes an input capture port for storing data read from the card, and wherein the microcontroller device continually poles the input capture port for an event to occur. The entire read/write system can be integrated into one single chip. The steps for processing the signal, processing the signal, and writing to the stripes have also been disclosed. The steps generally include inserting the card into a card reader operatively associated with the MR read head and passing manually the stripe underneath the MR read head, and wherein the information on the magnetic card media is stored in the form of a plurality of magnetic flux reversals. Next, the magnetic flux reversal is detected by the MR head as the stripe moves under the MR head, an analog signal is generated, conditioned, amplified and converted to a square wave. The input capture port polls the microcontroller for a flux reversal contained on the stripe to occur, and thereafter stores the timing value in memory. The stored timing is converted to timing pulse width associated with zero/one, read from the magnetic stripe. The information is converted to the designated characters according to the ISO/IEC CD 7811. The security and authentication of the data can be checked. For the read/write process in manual mode, the write head and read head is placed 2 to 3 bits distance apart.
