The present disclosure relates to wireless communication devices, network devices, and wireless communication methods. One example wireless communication device selects and reserves a specific resource or a specific transmission pattern for a predetermined time period. The wireless communication device sends, to at least one User Equipment (UE), a sidelink control message using a determined sidelink resource, the sidelink control message indicating the specific resource or the specific transmission pattern. The wireless communication device transmits an uplink or sidelink data message using the specific resource or the specific transmission pattern.

A mobile communication device has a receiver configured to receive a radio signal over a radio channel. The radio signal has a predetermined pilot preamble. The mobile communication device has a processor configured to determine mobility information, in particular a Doppler and/or a Delay Spread, based on the pilot preamble. The processor is further configured to signal the mobility information to a second communication device. A base station is also provided, having: a receiver configured to receive mobility information, in particular a Doppler and/or a Delay Spread, signaled by a mobile communication device; and a processor, configured to select a numerology based on the mobility information and to generate a radio signal for transmission to the communication device based on the numerology.

Communication techniques based on adaptive numerology

A quality of service (QoS) class indicator (QCI) structure is provided, wherein the QCI structure is arranged to control communication in a communication network and to classify data flows in the communication network, and wherein the QCI structure comprises: an identifier of a provider of an industry vertical and/or of a service in the communication network; and a QoS parameter set for the provider of the industry vertical and/or of the service. A QoS central controller is configured to manage QoS classes in the communication network according to the QCI structure. Each one of one or more QoS sub-network controllers is arranged to configure devices in a respective sub-network of the communication network according to the QCI structure.
