A fertilizer composition containing a calcium sulfate urea (UCS) fertilizer and a urea free nitrogenous fertilizer and methods for making and using the same are disclosed. The calcium sulfate urea can be a calcium sulfate urea adduct. The urea free nitrogenous fertilizer can include one or more of ammonium sulfate urea and ammonium nitrate.

A calcium sulfate urea (UCS) fertilizer granule and methods for making and using the same are disclosed. The granule can include urea, calcium sulfate, and a calcium sulfate urea adduct, wherein a portion of the surface of the calcium sulfate urea adduct includes a layer comprising urea, calcium sulfate, or calcium sulfate urea adduct, or any combination or all thereof.

Calcium sulfate urea granules and methods for producing and using the same

Solid acidic fertilizer granules, methods for producing the same, and methods for their use in fertigation, are disclosed. The solid acidic fertilizer granules include a plant nutrient and one or more inorganic acid distributed throughout the granules. The amount of the inorganic acid is sufficient to adjust the pH value of the fertigation solution containing the dissolved fertilizer granule to an acidic pH and prevent or reduce the precipitation of calcium in the fertigation solution.

Acidified NP, PK, NPK fertilizer granules for fertigation

A calcium sulfate urea (UCS) fertilizer granule and methods for making and using the same are disclosed. The granule can include urea, calcium sulfate, and a calcium sulfate urea adduct. The granule can contain 33 wt. % to 40 wt. % elemental nitrogen, 2 wt. % to 5 wt. % elemental calcium, and 2 wt. % to 5 wt. % elemental sulfur.

Disclosed herein is a method for fertigation comprising: (a) providing an acidic mixture of water and a fertilizer dissolving agent; (b) contacting the acidic mixture with a fertilizer composition in fertigation equipment to dissolve the fertilizer composition and to form a fertigation composition; and (c) contacting the fertigation composition with soil. Also disclosed are a fertigation composition and a fertilizer system.
