The invention provides a method of coating a surface with a water and oil repellant polymer layer. The method comprises the steps of providing a substrate with a surface, exposing the surface to a monomer compound, and exposing the surface to a continuous plasma having a plasma power provided by a plasma circuit. During the exposition of the surface to the continuous plasma, the plasma power is reduced from an initial higher plasma power to a final lower plasma power, the final lower plasma power being less than 35% of the initial higher plasma power, thus applying an even polymer layer exhibiting a water contact angle of more than 110&#xb0;.

Method of coating a surface with a water and oil repellant polymer layer

The present invention relates to a surface mounted coil () for wireless communication. The coil () comprises a wire () wounded about a core () thereby establishing a plurality of windings and having its ends terminated on mounting sections () at each end of the core (). The coil () further comprises a shielding layer () wound about a central part of the core () thereby covering said windings. The shielding layer () comprises a shielding pattern and a contact section () for connecting to a ground level and to the shielding pattern.
