A movable reconfigurable wall system having at least one module having a front and rear surface, the at least one module having: vertical end frames disposed at least at its side edges, each the vertical end frame having a vertically extending flange directed toward the front surface and a vertically extending flange directed toward the rear surface; a plurality of horizontal stringers affixed between the pair of vertical end frames; and an aesthetic surface affixed to the stringers; and a removable connecting strip, the connecting strip adapted to affix about one of the two flanges on one of the vertical end frames and join the one of the two flanges to a corresponding flange on one of a second module, a wall bracket, a finishing trim or a connection post.

Integrated reconfigurable wall system

An interface for mounting interchangeable components and systems and methods implementing the same, including reconfigurable modular wall systems having a plurality of different types of interchangeable wall modules with different types of compatible connection components, each connection component being configured to align with another connection component at an interface to form an interface connection for securing the connection components together with one or more universal connection interface members. The interface is configured for on-demand reconfiguration without laborious alteration to aspects of the walls system, modules, and components thereof. Reconfiguration of modules is facilitated by removing the universal connection interface member from the interface connection, thereby releasing the attachment mechanism and allowing rearrangement of the module(s). Replacement of the universal connection interface member secures the reconfigured modules in place in the rearranged wall system.

Interface for mounting interchangable components

A modular wall includes a plurality of inter-connectable and interchangeable wall modules. At least one of the wall modules includes a recessed, extendable piece of furniture, such as a bed, desk, table, work surface or chair. When in a closed configuration, the furniture folds into or otherwise resides within a recessed pocket in the modular wall. When in the closed configuration, the outer surface of the furniture forms an exterior surface of the wall module; thereby, concealing the furniture seamlessly into the modular wall. The exterior surface can comprise one or more exterior interchangeable tiles.

Modular walls incorporating recessed, extendable furniture

A mounting system for mounting a piece of furniture in a movable manner to a modular wall system includes a side support bar that has a channel extending therethrough. The side support bar can be mounted to a modular wall system. A roller assembly is connected to the piece of furniture. The roller assembly includes rollers that can be positioned and moved within the channel to enable the piece of furniture to be selectively repositioned along the modular wall system.

Slidable furniture with in-wall mounting system

Reinforced panels include a layer of glass joined to a substrate to support the glass. Connectors are joined to the side of the substrate opposite the glass to enable the reinforced panel to be configured with and/or attached to a modular wall system. The glass can be backpainted prior to joining to the substrate, and/or a film can be included in the reinforced tile disposed between the glass panel and the substrate. A reinforced panel includes a conductive material disposed between a glass layer and a substrate to form a touch-responsive section. One or more intermediate layers disposed between the glass layer and the substrate are included. The one or more intermediate layers have sufficient elastic deformability so as to enable the reinforced panel to tolerate differences in thermal expansion between the substrate and the glass layer without resulting in cracking of the glass layer.

A reconfigurable modular wall system having a plurality of different types of interchangeable wall modules with different types of compatible connection components, each connection component being configured to align with another connection component at an interface to form an interface connection for securing the connection components together with one or more universal connection interface members. Reconfigurable wall system

A modular wall system with an integrated pocket door includes a frame defining a wall plane and a doorway. The system also includes one or more aesthetic panels connected to at least a portion of the frame so as to cover at least a portion of the wall frame. Additionally, the system includes a support member extending above the doorway and across at least a portion of the wall plane. The support member includes an integrated track that is accessible through one or more access windows integrated into the support member. The system includes a slideable pocket door integrated into the track such that when closed, the pocket door blocks the doorway, and when open, the pocket door is at least partially enclosed behind the one or more aesthetic panels.

Pocket door

A modular floor system including webbing formed by a plurality of interconnected web sections. The web sections include attachment portions that are aligned in the grid layout. The support members are attachable to attachment sections of the web sections so that attached support members are properly aligned and positioned with respect to one another along the grid layout. The modular floor system includes tiles positioned upon and secured to the support members to be supported above the ground surface by the support members. A utility space is defined by and disposed between the ground surface and the supported tiles. Utility cables can be routed through the utility space.

Modular raised floor system

The present disclosure relates to modular and reconfigurable architectural assemblies such as modular walls and modular furniture, including modular and reconfigurable desk systems, with features and components that provide wire management functionality. A modular desk system includes a horizontal work surface and a lower vertical section extending vertically downward and/or upward from the work surface. At least a portion of the lower vertical section houses one or more resource trays having power and data receptacles for user wires to plug into. An access component such as a cover encloses the resource tray to provide a functional and aesthetically pleasing assembly while allowing management and organization of user wires and/or supply wires.

Modular furniture system with wire management

Implementations of the present disclosure relate to systems, methods, and apparatus for connecting one or more wall modules to structural components of a building. At least one implementation includes connections that can allow the wall module to couple to a structural wall. For instance, the wall module can extend away from an end of the structural wall. In particular, the wall module can have a frame that connects to the structural wall on at least one side face and one or more panels that connect to the frame to at least partially conceal the structural wall and the frame from a first vantage point. Accordingly, the structural wall together with one or more wall modules can divide the floor space of a building into one or more individual spaces.

A reconfigurable modular partition system having a plurality of different types of interchangeable (wall or ceiling) modules with different types of compatible connection components, each connection component being configured to align with another connection component at an interface to form an interface connection (e.g., channel) for securing the connection components together with one or more universal connection interface members. Reconfiguration of modules is facilitated by removing the universal connection interface member from the channel, thereby releasing the attachment mechanism and allowing rearrangement of the module(s). Replacement of the universal connection interface member secures the reconfigured modules in place in the rearranged partition system.

Straight and curved reconfigurable partition systems

A method of configuring a modular wall having a plurality of different types of interchangeable wall modules with different types of compatible connection components, each connection component being configured to align with another connection component at an interface to form an interface connection for securing the connection components together with one or more universal connection interface members. The modular wall system is configured for on-demand reconfiguration without laborious alteration to aspects of the walls system, modules, and components thereof. Reconfiguration of modules is facilitated by removing the universal connection interface member from the interface connection, thereby releasing the attachment mechanism and allowing rearrangement of the module(s). Replacement of the universal connection interface member secures the reconfigured modules in place in the rearranged wall system.
