A radio clock including: an antenna configured to receive a satellite signals transmitted from a plurality of GPS satellites; a receiving unit configured to perform a receiving process to acquire information tram a satellite signal received by the antenna, the information being contained in the satellite signal; and a control unit configured to control the receiving unit to keep synchronized with the GPS satellite that has transmitted the satellite signal and control the receiving unit to receive a satellite signal containing date information for date correction when the information acquired by the receiving unit does not contain the date information.

Radio clock

A radio clock including: an antenna configured to receive a satellite signal transmitted from GPS satellite; a receiving unit configured to perform a receiving process to acquire information contained in the satellite signal received by the antenna within a predetermine upper limit period; and a control unit configured to change the number of receiving processes to be performed in a predetermined period and change the upper limit period in accordance with a total sum of durations of the receiving processes performed in the predetermined period.

A musical tone generating apparatus is capable of reproducing natural musical tones while waveform memories of a nominal capacity. The apparatus comprises a first waveform memory 1a for storing first waveform data of one period of a stationary first waveform existing after an elapse of a certain period from the beginning of generation of a musical tone and a second waveform memory 1b for storing second waveform data of one period of a second waveform representing differential spectral components derived from spectral differences between a fundamental wave component and harmonic components of the non-stationary waveform determined immediately after the beginning of generation of the musical tone and a fundamental wave component and harmonic components of the first waveform. A first multiplier generates first multiplication data by multiplying the first waveform data with a first level coefficient which varies as a function of time and a second multiplier generates second multiplication data by multiplying the second waveform data with a second level coefficient which varies as a function of time. A level coefficient generator provides the first level coefficient and the second level coefficient while an adder sums the first multiplication data and the second multiplication data.

Musical tone generating apparatus

An envelope waveform producing circuit includes a ROM for storing a plurality of groups of parameter data, each group of parameter data defining a waveform of an envelope which includes data representing at least one of an attack rate and an attack level and data representing at least one of a decay rate and a sustain level, an address designator, connected with the ROM, for reading out a desired group of parameter data from the ROM to cause an envelope waveform to be produced in accordance with the parameter data read out, an UP/DOWN counter for selectively counting up and down from a preset value, a coincidence detector, connected with the UP/DOWN counter, for detecting coincidence between a counted value of the UP/DOWN counter and a predetermined value, a control circuit, connected with the UP/DOWN counter and the address designator, for controlling the address designator to read out desired parameter data and for controlling the UP/DOWN counter to count up or down from the preset value, and activation or deactivation of the UP/DOWN counter.
