A shield foil removing device includes an opening and closing chuck configured to accommodate two wire cores surrounded by a shield foil in a space having a rectangular cross section orthogonal to an electric wire longitudinal direction, which is formed by closing, in such a direction that a longitudinal direction of the rectangular space and an arrangement direction of the two wire cores in a cross section coincide with each other, compresses the shield foil in a direction orthogonal to an arrangement direction of the two wire cores by reducing the rectangular space by a closing operation, and brings the shield foil into close contact with outer peripheral surfaces of the two wire cores to secure a gap continuous in a longitudinal direction of the shielded electric wire between both of outer peripheral curved surfaces adjacent to each other of the two wire cores and the shield foil.

A foil peeling apparatus includes an electric wire gripping unit configured to grip a multi-core electric wire including wire members linearly arranged in parallel, a foil covering the wire members, and a sheath covering the foil, the sheath being peeled off at a tip end portion of the electric wire such that the foil is exposed. The foil peeling apparatus further includes: a wire member space forming unit configured to be pressed against an exposed portion of the foil between the wire members so as to form a space between the wire members; a foil cutting unit configured to be abutted against the exposed portion of the foil corresponding to the space formed between the wire members so as to form a cut in the foil; and a foil removal unit configured to open the foil from the cut, and cut the foil which has been opened.

Foil peeling apparatus and foil peeling method

Positioning of a shield electric wire is performed by an insertion jig in front of a peeling jig, and a portion at a distal end of the shield electric wire where a metal foil is exposed is inserted into an electric wire insertion hole of a peeling jig through the center hole of an insertion jig. Air is blown from an opening on an other-end-surface side of the peeling jig toward the distal end of the shielded electric wire, and the metal foil is expanded while being separated from a wire core. Twisted wire manufacturing method

In this continuity inspection device, a reference electrode plate held at ground potential is disposed along an intermediate portion of electric wires to be inspected for continuity, and a discharge path (positive charge leaking path) for static electricity charged on the electric wires after the continuity inspection is secured by the reference electrode plate. Thus, accumulation of static electricity after the continuity inspection on electric wires is avoided. Moreover, the electric potential of the static electricity charged on the electric wires by application of voltage to power supplying probes is measured by measuring equipment as the absolute potential with respect to the ground potential of the reference electrode plate through the surface potential of the terminals of the electric wires. Thus, the electric potential of the static electricity of the electric wires is accurately measured without being affected by cross talk due to stray capacitance between the electric wires.
