An apparatus for examining an anterior-segment of an eye, capable of grasping each part of the anterior-segment of the eye three-dimensionally and the condition of the center of its pupil accurately. The apparatus is provided with a projection optical system for projecting slit light onto the anterior-segment, which has an optical axis of projection, an image-pickup optical system for picking up a cross-sectional image of the anterior-segment which is optical-sectioned by the projected slit light, which has an optical axis of image-pickup inclined toward the projection optical axis, and comprises an image-pickup lens and an image-pickup device arranged based on the Scheimpflug's rule, rotation means for rotating the projected slit light and the image-pickup optical system about the projection optical axis, and display means for displaying a three-dimensional image of the anterior-segment based on the cross-sectional images picked up at a plurality of angles and the image-pickup angles corresponding to the images.

The present invention intends to provide an apparatus for analyzing a sectional image of an anterior eye segment and a program for the same which reduce a burden on an examiner, and to provide a more reliable, reproducible result. The apparatus for analyzing a sectional image of an anterior eye segment which is light-sectioned by slit light and photographed comprises a defining device for defining a target opacity part in the sectional image based on a density distribution being between a cornea and a fundus and being in a first direction perpendicular to an optical axis of an eye to be examined, a determining device for determining an area to be analyzed based on the defined opacity part, and an analyzing device for analyzing an opacity condition base on the density distribution in the determined area.

A fundus camera for photographing a fundus of an eye to be examined in which color adjustments are easily made to display an image in desired colors. The fundus camera is provided with: a photographing optical system having a photographing element for photoelectrically photographing the fundus; a monitor which displays an image of the photographed fundus illuminated in illumination light from an illumination light source for photographing; a color adjustment data input unit which inputs color adjustment data for making a color adjustment to the image to be displayed on the monitor; a color adjustment unit which makes the color adjustment to the image based on the inputted color adjustment data; and a storage unit which stores data about the image associated with data about its colors.

A method for analyzing an image of a fundus to analyze an optic disc on the basis of the image of the fundus includes: a first step of producing a disc line and a cup line on a same planar image, on the basis of the image of the fundus; a second step of obtaining a longest distance in a predetermined direction of each of a disc region determined by the produced disc line and a cup region determined by the produced cup line; and a third step of computing a C/D ratio on the basis of longest distances of the regions in the predetermined direction.
