The number of simultaneous connections to a SIP server is increased without degrading overall performance. If it is judged that, when a newly requested call is accepted, the number of calls whose call control data is stored in a call processing memory or the amount of the call control data stored in the call processing memory would exceed an upper limit, the call control data stored in the call processing memory for a busy call is saved in an external storage device. As the frequency of occurrence of an event is low in the case of a busy call, it becomes possible to accept the new call without degrading overall performance.

A system for controlling automatic call distribution service in a network in which call processing systems are connected via a control channel and a communication channel includes a pseudo-ACD-call-placement requesting unit which sends a request for pseudo-ACD-call placement from a control station to satellite stations via the control channel, wherein the control station is one of the call processing systems that receives a call from an exterior of the network, and satellite stations are the call processing systems other than the control station, a pseudo-ACD-call-placement-request accepting unit which accepts the request at the satellite stations so that a pseudo-ACD call is placed in queue in the satellite stations, and an inter-station-communication-path establishing unit which establishes a communication path via the communication channel between the control station and one of the satellite stations when the one of the satellite stations has an available receiver to respond to the pseudo-ACD call placed in the queue thereof.

System for controlling automatic call distribution service

A method of controlling silent monitoring of a group in an electronic exchange accommodating a terminal of a monitoring individual and terminals of individuals to be monitored, wherein a call between a prescribed individual to be monitored and a customer is allowed to be monitored by the monitoring individual. The individuals to be monitored are divided into groups, groups to be monitored are allocated to the monitoring individual and this information is entered into a call controller of the electronic exchange. The call controller observes, group by group, call-in-progress/call-not-in-progress status of the individuals to be monitored and allows the monitoring individual to automatically monitor, in succession, calls between customers and call-in-progress individuals to be monitored belonging to the monitoring target groups allocated to the monitoring individual.
