A method for producing a resin composition is provided. The method includes melting and kneading a thermoplastic resin having a transition temperature of less than 200&#xb0; C. and a powder with a twin-screw kneading extruder. The powder is an inorganic filler having an apparent density of 0.1 to 1.5 g/ml. The resin is supplied from a supply port to the extruder, and the powder is supplied from a gravimetric feeder to the extruder through a screw type side feeder. A transport capacity of the side feeder is 2 times or more an effective volume of the powder per unit time. In the extruder, melting and kneading are performed under conditions in which resin pressure in a first kneading zone is 1 MPa or more, and resin pressure in a second kneading zone is less than 3 MPa, and gas is removed from a vent port.

Method for producing resin composition

Disclosed are a propylene resin material capable of affording a molded article superior in impact properties, tensile properties, and appearance, and a method for producing the same. The propylene resin material includes a propylene homopolymer portion and a propylene-ethylene copolymer portion and satisfies specific requirements. The production method includes the step of mixing an organic peroxide with a propylene polymeric material produced via a multistage polymerization process using a polymerization catalyst and comprising a propylene homopolymer portion and a propylene-ethylene copolymer portion, the step of heating the mixture obtained via the mixing step, at a temperature lower than a decomposition temperature of the organic peroxide at which the half-life of the organic peroxide is one minute, and the step of washing the mixture heated in the heating step, with a medium containing an organic solvent.

Propylene resin material and method for the production thereof

There is disclosed a resin composition from which a molded article excellent in scratch resistance and mechanical properties, low in gloss and low in shrinkage anisotropy can be obtained. Specifically, disclosed is a resin composition comprising 40% by weight to 90% by weight of a propylene polymeric material (A) containing 50% by weight or more of structural units derived from propylene, 9% by weight to 30% by weight of wollastonite (B), and 1% by weight to 30% by weight of an elastomer (C) where the combined amount of (A), (B) and (C) is taken as 100% by weight, wherein the wollastonite (B) satisfies specific requirements.

Resin composition

There is provided a method for producing a resin composition which is good in dispersability of a biodegradable resin. This method has a first kneading step of kneading (A) a biodegradable resin and (B) a compound that is reactive with the biodegradable resin (A) to produce a resin composition precursor, and a second kneading step of kneading the resin composition precursor and a polyolefin resin (C).

Method for producing modified propylene polymer

Provided is a polyolefin-based resin composition comprising from 30 to 90% by mass of a polyolefin resin (A), from 1 to 50% by mass of an aliphatic polyester-based resin (B) , from 1 to 40% by mass of an ethylene-octene rubber (C) having a melt flow rates being higher than 3 g/10 minutes and not higher than 40 g/10 minutes, and from 0.01 to 20% by mass of an epoxy group-containing ethylene-based polymers (D); molded articles obtainable by molding the composition is superior in tensile elongation and impact resistance.
