A heat exchanger includes tubes arranged in one direction, and a corrugated fin provided between the tubes. The corrugated fin includes joints joined to the tubes, and fin bodies that connect the joints which are located next to each other along the wave shape. The fin body includes a cut-raised portion that has a shape in which a part of the fin body is cut and raised for promotion of heat transfer. The cut-raised portion includes a cut-raised end on at least one end of the cut-raised portion in the one direction. The cut-raised end has recesses and projections on its surface that increase hydrophilicity of the surface of the cut-raised end.

Heat exchanger and corrugated fin

A heat exchanger includes a tube, a corrugated fin, and a plurality of grooves. The corrugated fin has a plurality of bent portions and a plurality of fin main bodies disposed between the bent portions. The multiple grooves are arranged at specified intervals from each other and are formed on a surface of the corrugated fin to enhance the hydrophilicity of the surface. The corrugated fin includes a first thick portion in which at least one of the grooves is included and a second thick portion thicker than the first thick portion in a cross-sectional view along an extending direction of the bent portions.

A heat exchanger includes: stacked tubes through which a refrigerant flows; and a fin joined to the tube to increase a heat exchange area with air flowing around the tube. A cross-section of the fin perpendicular to a flow direction of the air is shaped in a wave shape that has: planar sections substantially parallel to the flow direction of the air; and a top for connecting between the adjacent planar sections. A clearance is defined in the planar section of the fin. When a portion of the fin where the shortest distance from a center line between the adjacent planar sections becomes the maximum is set as a furthest section in a cross-section perpendicular to a stacking direction of the tubes, the clearance is defined in one furthest section or at least one of a plurality of furthest sections.

Heat exchanger

In a heat exchanger, a refrigerant side header tank and a coolant side header tank which are connected with refrigerant tubes and coolant tubes include a plate header member, a communication intermediate plate member, a blocking intermediate plate member, and a tank header member. The communication intermediate plate member includes first and second fluid communication holes through which refrigerant and coolant flow, respectively. In this situation, with a simple configuration in that a part of the first and second fluid communication holes is blocked by the blocking intermediate plate member, a communication state between both tubes and internal spaces of the header tanks is regulated.

A heat exchanger has a flat tube () having a curved portion (). A part of the curved portion () is formed by overlapping an outer rim () on an inner rim (). The inner rim () has a small curvature region (). The small curvature region () is inclined to a flat plate portion (), and is defined by a radius larger than a difference between a half of a thickness of the flat tube () and a thickness of the outer rim ().
