A presentation device for generating a virtual screen used for performing a pointing operation, has a photographing section of which an angle of view can be adjusted by operating a zoom function and a pan-and-tilt mechanism, a monitor for a presenter, displaying an image photographed by the photographing section, and a control section. A mark for generating the virtual screen is set on a photographing range of the photographing section or the monitor, a virtual screen area having a predetermined size is set within the angle of view of the photographing section based on the mark, and the control section generates XY coordinates of the virtual screen on the virtual screen area.

Presentation device

A presentation system comprises a display for setting a virtual screen, a pointing mark for operating a point on the display, a photographing device for photographing the pointing mark and the display, a displaying device for displaying a predetermined image or the photographed image photographed by the photographing device, and a control device. The control device calculates coordinates of the pointing mark on coordinates of the virtual screen and has a pointing function for synthesizing a predetermined point image at coordinates of the image on the displaying device, which correspond to the coordinates of the pointing mark.

A material presentation device connecting at least two material presentation devices to each other, comprises a first selecting device for selecting one image as a main image from plural images composed of an image output by another material presentation device, a camera image of a material on a material mounting pedestal, which is photographed by a photographing section, an image stored in a memory device, and an external image output by an external device connected thereto, a second selecting device capable of selecting no image or one image as an additional image from plural images composed of a camera image of a material on the material mounting pedestal, which is photographed by the photographing section, an image stored in the memory device and an external image output by the external device, a point image generating device for generating a point image from point information which is subtracted from an image photographed by the photographing section, an image synthesizing section for synthesizing the additional image selected by the second selecting device and the point image with the main image selected by the first selecting device, a display image selecting device for selecting one image from an image output by another material presentation device and the image synthesized by the image synthesizing section, an image displaying section for displaying the image selected by the display image selecting device, and an image outputting section for outputting the image synthesized by the image synthesizing section.

Material presentation device

A presentation system comprises: a screen device; a projecting device for projecting an image onto the screen device; an indication mark for setting two reference points, which is two orthogonal points on a rectangular virtual screen, near a presenter and for the presenter operating a point on the virtual screen; a photographing device for photographing the virtual screen and the indication mark; and an arithmetic operation device for generating coordinates of the virtual screen from the two reference points photographed by the photographing device, and for calculating coordinates of the indication mark on the generated virtual screen. The projecting device projects a point image onto the coordinates of the indication mark on the image.

Presentation system

A presentation system for a presenter to safely point out parts of an image projected from a projector onto a screen with laser light projected from a laser pointer held by the presenter is disclosed. The presentation system includes one or more infrared light receiving units on the laser pointer that selectively receive infrared signals from sending units that are mounted on the projector or on walls in order to control emission of laser light from the laser pointer. Arrangements of the sending and receiving units are designed to allow emission of the laser light from the pointer only when the laser pointer is pointed toward the projection screen. A control unit in the laser pointer may determine if the laser pointer is pointed correctly or a gravity operated shutter may further assist in preventing unsafe projection of laser light from the laser pointer.

Laser presentation system using a laser pointer

A presentation system comprises a screen, a laser pointer operated by a user to project laser beam on the screen, and an infrared light projector for emitting infrared light on the entire surface of the screen. The laser pointer comprises an infrared light receiving section directed in the same direction as a projection direction of laser beam for receiving infrared light projected from the infrared light projector and reflected from the screen, and a control section for causing the laser pointer to project laser beam only while the infrared light receiving section is receiving infrared light.

Presentation system using laser pointer

A printing plate is held at one point thereof by a holding portion provided at a surface plate. When pushed by a pushing portion, the printing plate is only rotationally displaced. Thus, an angular error is substantially eliminated and displacement of the printing plate is small. Then, the pushing portion positions the printing plate in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which the surface plate can be moved. Then, movement of the surface plate positions the printing plate in the direction in which the surface plate can be moved.

An automatic exposure apparatus for printing plates and a method for exposing printing plates, which can prevent a defective image such as an unfocused image from being formed when an image is recorded onto the printing plate is provided. Suction holes are formed at a surface plate of an automatic exposure apparatus for printing plates, and a vacuum pump communicates with the suction holes. A solenoid valve is provided at a communicating path between the suction holes and the vacuum pump , and a chamber is provided at the communicating path between the solenoid valve and the vacuum pump . The solenoid valve is closed and the vacuum pump is operated in a state in which a photopolymer plate is disposed on a top surface of the surface plate , and the solenoid valve is opened completely in an instant in a state in which a pressure of a decompressed interior of the chamber is a predetermined value or lower, such that the decompressed interior can suck air all at once from the suction holes with a strong suction force. Accordingly, a curled photopolymer plate can be brought in complete contact with the top surface of the surface plate , and thus, a defective image such as an unfocused image is prevented when an image is recorded.

Automatic exposure apparatus for printing plates and method for exposing printing plates

A casing of a ball bearing which holds a ball screw can be displaced on a supporting stand against urging force of a compression coil spring and a tensile coil spring. If vibration of the ball screw is transmitted to the casing, the casing attempts to move on the supporting stand. However, when, due to the vibration, the casing is displaced against the urging force of the compression coil spring and the tensile coil spring, the urging force forcibly attempts to return the casing to its original position. A frequency of vibration of the casing is thereby forcibly changed.

Ball screw feed mechanism

In a printing plate automatic exposing device, a vacuum pump and a pressure sensor are provided in communication with a detection hole provided in a surface plate. When a photopolymer plate is set on the surface plate, a degree of vacuum of the detection hole becomes a predetermined degree of vacuum due to operation of the vacuum pump.
