In a power supply system and a method for controlling the same, at least one battery from among a plurality of batteries is designated as a charging-side battery, and the remaining batteries are designated as discharging-side batteries. Next, the difference in current between the current flowing from the discharging-side batteries and the current flowing into the charging-side battery is determined on the basis of currents measured by a plurality of current measuring instruments. Next, the transformation rate of a voltage transformer connected to the discharging-side batteries is determined on the basis of the determined difference in current.

Power supply system and method for controlling same

In a power supply system, a plurality of voltage converters have chargeable/dischargeable batteries connected to the respective primary sides and have respective secondary sides connected in parallel to each other. For each of the voltage converters, a voltage transformation rate is set such that the current measured by a primary side current measuring instrument is maintained within a first range between the discharge current maximum value of the batteries connected to the primary sides and the charge current maximum value of the batteries.

An electric automobile braking device includes a master cylinder that has no vacuum booster and a hydraulic booster device that can increase a brake fluid pressure generated by the master cylinder. Switching is possible between a normal braking mode in which hydraulic braking and regenerative braking are used in combination when a percentage charge of a battery is less than a threshold value and a regenerative braking restriction mode in which hydraulic braking is permitted and regenerative braking is restricted when the percentage charge is a threshold value or greater. In the regenerative braking restriction mode, when a depressing force of a brake pedal by a driver exceeds a first depressing force over a predetermined period of time, an operation of the hydraulic booster device is suppressed.

Electric automobile braking device

In a travel angle detection system for a mobile object having a detector installed in the mobile object to produce angular velocity outputs successively, the detector outputs are read and one output is determined as a provisional calibration value indicative of zero-point. Integrated values of differences between the calibration value and successive outputs and output variation width are calculated. When they are within predetermined permissible ranges, the mobile object is determined to be in static condition and the calibration value is corrected by an average value of the integrated values. The travel angle of the mobile object is detected from the calibrated outputs of the detector, thereby achieving accurate calibration of detector output by enabling accurate determination of the static condition.
