In order to apply, with a simple and easy means, proper pressure between bone segments spaced apart as a result of osteotomy or a bone fracture, without lowering the fixing force at the screw meshing portion, without increasing a dead space, and without increasing the thickness of the plate, the present invention provides a bone plate having an upper face, which is to be in contact with bone, a lower face, which is to be in contact with the bone, and a plurality of holes arranged to receive bone screws and connecting the upper face and the lower face. In at least one of the holes, a portion of an edge, on the upper face, of the hole is formed so as to be raised in the form of a protrusion higher than the upper face around the hole.

A bone plate includes: a band-shaped body section that is fixed along a longitudinal direction of the tibia; a transverse section that is fixed along a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the tibia; a joining section for joining the body section and the transverse section; and screw holes. The bone plate of the present invention includes a body portion to be fixed to an obliquely anterior medial surface of the tibia below the osteotomy surface; a wide portion to be fixed to an outer peripheral surface of the tibia at a higher position than the osteotomy surface; a connecting portion that connects the body portion and the wide portion; and a plurality of screw holes arrayed in the body portion, the wide portion and the connecting portion. An inner surface that extends from the wide portion to the connecting portion and faces the tibia has a continuous curved shape twisted about an axis along the longitudinal direction of the tibia. A bone plate is provided with: a strip-shaped main-body portion that is secured, along a longitudinal direction of a tibia, to an oblique anterior inner surface of the tibia below a cut formed in an inner surface of the tibia; a transverse portion that is secured to an inner surface of the tibia above the cut along a direction that intersects the longitudinal direction of the tibia; and a joining portion that joins the main-body portion and the transverse portion, wherein the transverse portion and the main-body portion are provided with a plurality of screw holes that are arrayed with spaces between each other and that pass therethrough in plate-thickness directions.
