There is provided a method of manufacturing a rotor, which is capable of manufacturing a sufficiently high-strength and well-finished rotor at a reasonable price. A continuous cast rod is out into a billet having a predetermined length. The billet is heated and then fitted in a die assembly. A plurality of vane slits and a shaft hole are formed in the billet fitted in the die assembly, by the use of a press.

Method of manufacturing rotor for a vane compressor

There is provided a vane compressor which prevents leakage of refrigerant gas by decreasing the number of airtight interfaces between component parts and prevents seizure from occurring between its rotor and its side block without surface treatment of the side block. The vane compressor has a cam ring. The rotor is rotatably received in the cam ring. A first head is secured to one end face of the cam ring. A second head is secured to another end face of the cam ring in a manner such that the second head closes an opening of the another end face of the cam ring and one end face of the rotor can be brought into contact with the second head. The side block is received in the first head in a manner such that it closes an opening of the one end face of the cam ring and another end face of the rotor can be brought into contact with the side block.

Vane compressor

A a cartridge type delivery valve assembly in which a valve seat surface and a valve are integrated in order to assure good seating characteristics in the delivery valve. The delivery valve assembly is formed by fixing together a valve holder provided with delivery holes, a roll valve that is mounted along the internal surface of the valve holder to freely open and close the delivery holes and a valve stopper that fixes the roll valve onto the valve holder and regulates the lift quantity of the roll valve, in an integrated manner using coupling members and the delivery valve assembly thus achieved is mounted in a valve insertion space.

A vane compressor includes a rotor. The rotor is rotatably received in a cam ring. A first side member is secured to one end face of the cam ring. A second side member is secured to another end face of the cam ring. A high-pressure chamber is formed within the first side member. The cam ring has at least one high-pressure space formed therein which opens in the one end face of the cam ring in a manner such that the at least one high-pressure space directly communicates with the high-pressure chamber.

In a suction port for a vane-type compressor in which suction holes 15a and 15 a along the inner peripheral edge 1a of the cylinder 1 are disposed in the read side block 4 and notch portions 15b and 15b opposing to the suction holes 15a are disposed at the opening edge on he suction side of cylinder 1, the suction holes 15a and 15a are arranged outside the vane sliding zone of the rotor-side end face 4a of the rear side block 4. If a vane juts out of a vane groove, the tip of vane does not enter the suction holes 15a and 15a even if the tip of a vane is inclined, so that the vane does not heavily rub the end portion of the suction hole on the rotor-side end face 4a.

A jointing structure of a rotor and a shaft has a rotor made of aluminum alloy having a through-hole at a center thereof, and a shaft made of steel which is to be press fitted into the through-hole of the rotor, the shaft being formed at least at a part of a surface to be jointed with the through-hole of the rotor with a hump and valley portion along an axis thereof, the outer diameter of the hump portion being larger than the inner diameter of the through-hole, the hump and valley portion of the shaft being press fitted into the through-hole of the rotor.

A compressor includes at least one compression space for compressing refrigerant, at least one communication chamber into which the refrigerant is discharged from the compression space, a discharge pressure chamber, and at least one communications passage communicating the communication chamber with the discharge pressure chamber for feeding the refrigerant from the communication chamber into the discharge pressure chamber. The length of the passage is longer than the diameter of the passage.

A sliding-vane compressor of the type including a compressor body housed in a front head and a shell, wherein a cushioning member is disposed on at least one of a contacting surface between the front head and the compressor body and a contact surface between the compressor body and the shell for taking up vibration produced by the compressor body before the vibration is transmitted to the shell. The cushioning member which is disposed between a rear side block of the compressor and the shell may be formed integrally with a seal member.

A sliding-vane rotary compressor includes a suction hole defined in a side block for connecting compression chambers with a bearing/shaft-seal chamber, and a guide hole defined in a drive shaft for connecting the bearing/shaft-seal chamber and a low pressure chamber, whereby a bearing and a shaft seal jointly defining therebetween the bearing/shaft-seal chamber can be lubricated sufficiently by a refrigerant carrier entraining a lubricating oil.

A sliding-vane rotary compressor of the type having a cylinder, a rotor rotatably disposed therein and carrying thereon a plurality of vanes, a pair of side blocks attached to opposite ends of the cylinder, and a pair of heads attached to the side blocks, respectively, the improvement which comprises a partition wall separating an oil sump from a low pressure chamber which is defined by and between one of the side block and the head attached thereto, and at least two connecting passages interconnecting the oil sump and a high pressure chamber which is defined by and between the other side block and the head attached thereto.

Sliding-vane rotary compressor

In a refrigerant compressor, a driving shaft is rotatably supported within a compressor housing by a bearing on a suction side. A trigger valve is provided in a passageway communicating a discharge pressure chamber with the bearing on the suction side. When pressure within the discharge pressure chamber is lower than a predetermined value, the trigger valve opens the passageway to permit gaseous refrigerant of high temperature within the discharge pressure chamber to be supplied to the bearing on the suction side.
