A pump mounting seat surface is formed on a rear lower portion of a fuel tank. An approximately strip-shaped tank rear stay is mounted such that the tank rear stay escapes a pump mounting seat of the pump mounting seat surface. Both ends of the tank rear stay in the longitudinal direction project outward from the rear lower portion as mounting end portions. The mounting end portions are made to overlap with tank rear mounting bosses formed on center frames, and are fastened to the tank rear mounting bosses by bolts from above. A mounting member is not arranged below the pump mounting seat surface and hence, it is possible to ensure a space for a pipe of a fuel pump.

Fuel tank mounting structure of saddle-ride-type vehicle

A seat support structure for a saddle-riding vehicle having a rider's seat and a pillion seat separate from and disposed posterior to the rider's seat includes a bracket disposed on the rider's seat which is fixed to a vehicle body, the bracket providing a coupling between the rider's seat and the pillion seat, wherein the bracket is detachably inserted in a front portion of the pillion seat when the pillion seat is mounted to the vehicle body, and the pillion seat has a rear portion removably secured to the vehicle body.

Seat support structure for saddle-riding type vehicle having rider's seat and separate pillion seat

A cushion rubber provided independent from a flange of a fuel tank. A fuel tank is arranged above a main frame. A tank front stay, which is mounted on a front lower portion of the fuel tank, is made to overlap with a tank-front-side mounting boss, which is formed on a front end bent portion of the main frame, and is fastened to the tank-front-side mounting boss using a bolt from sideward. The tank front stay is provided independently from a flange, is welded to a bottom surface of the fuel tank, and projects downward from the inside of the flange. A sleeve portion is mounted on a lower end of the tank front stay, and a mount rubber is inserted into the sleeve portion thus providing a rubber mount.

In a motorcycle including a vehicle body frame, an engine supported by the vehicle body frame, an air cleaner box arranged above of the engine, and an ABS module capable of decompressing brake pressures of front and rear wheels, the ABS module is arranged at a position above the engine, rearward of the air cleaner box, in proximity to the left inlet port and a right inlet port of the air cleaner box for sucking outside air, and in suction routes of the left inlet port and the right inlet port. Therefore, a cooling effect with respect to an ABS module to suppress a thermal influence on the ABS module can be secured.

Saddle type vehicle

Vehicles, such as all terrain vehicles, can be provided with a frame and a fender assembly. The fender assembly can have layered fender panels attached together with a bolt and T-nut. A channel can be formed between the fender panels to facilitate passage of fluid along a predetermined pathway. A seat includes a compression surface for sandwiching the fender assembly with respect to the frame. Front and rear fender assemblies can be attached to the frame by a midpoint fastener passing through respective apertures in each of the front and rear fender assemblies, through a grommet, and into the frame. A stay assembly attaches a mudguard to the fender assembly, and can involve a swivel clip. Methods are also provided.
