A power storage module includes at least one power storage device, and a buffer member arranged with the power storage device in a first direction X. The buffer member includes a hard part having a predetermined hardness and a soft part softer than the hard part, the hard part and the soft part receiving a load in first direction X from the power storage device. The hard part changes its shape by receiving a load of a predetermined magnitude or more. The buffer member changes its state, by the hard part changing its shape, from a first state in which the load is received by the hard part to a second state in which the load is received by the soft part.

Buffer member and power storage module

An electrical storage module includes at least one electrical storage device, and a buffer member that is arrayed in first direction X together with the electrical storage device and receives a load in first direction X from the electrical storage device. The buffer member has a soft part and a hard part, which is positioned closer to an outer edge part of the buffer member than the soft part, and the soft part is more easily deformed than the hard part.

Buffer member and electrical storage module

A battery includes an electrode group, and a rectangular exterior casing that houses the electrode group and includes a tubular side wall, a bottom connected to a lower end of the side wall in a Z direction, and an opening provided at an upper end. An inner surface of the bottom of the exterior casing has a slope inclined with respect to a plane orthogonal to the Z direction. The electrode group is in thermal contact with the slope. The bottom may have a protrusion protruding inward in the Z direction of the exterior casing, and the slope may be formed on the protrusion.

Battery with improved heat dissipation

A power storage module includes: a plurality of power storage devices arranged in a first direction; and a separator provided between two adjacent power storage devices and insulating the two power storage devices from each other. The power storage device includes an exterior can that have an opening, a sealing plate that blocks the opening, and a joint part between the exterior can and the sealing plate. The separator includes a contact area that abuts a surface of the exterior can facing the first direction and a separation area that overlaps the joint part as viewed in the first direction and concaved with respect to the contact area in a direction away from the exterior can.

Power storage module

A battery module includes: a battery stack having a plurality of batteries; a plurality of first restraining members and a plurality of second restraining members; and connecting members. The first restraining members and the second restraining members define a housing space for the battery stack. Each of the first restraining members has a first housing part extending in a direction intersecting a planar direction in which the battery stack, the first restraining members, and the second restraining members are arranged, and each of the second restraining members has a second housing part extending in the planar direction. Each of the connecting members connects each of the first restraining members and each of the second restraining members to each other by being housed in the first housing part of each of the first restraining members and in the second housing part of each of the second restraining members.

Battery module and battery pack

A binding member includes a body part extending in stacking direction X of batteries, a supporting part extending in stacking direction X and projecting from the body part, the supporting part supporting a battery stack, and a plurality of pressing parts arranged to have a predetermined interval from the supporting part, the plurality of pressing parts being arranged in stacking direction X and projected from the body part to press the battery stack toward the supporting part. A first pressing part predetermined among the plurality of pressing parts provides a pressing force stronger than a pressing force provided by a second pressing part among the plurality of pressing parts, the second pressing part being closer to a fixing part fixing the battery stack and the binding member with respect to the first pressing part.

A binding member includes a body part extending in stacking direction X of batteries, a supporting part extending in stacking direction X and projecting from the body part, the supporting part supporting a battery stack, and a plurality of pressing parts arranged to have a predetermined interval from the supporting part, the plurality of pressing parts being arranged in the stacking direction and projected from the body part to press the battery stack toward the supporting part. When the body part is divided into two regions that are a supporting part side region and a pressing part side region, a rigidity in the supporting part side region is smaller than a rigidity in the pressing part side region.
