A sulfide all-solid-state battery which is capable of absorbing heat by a heat absorbing layer at abnormal heat generation and maintaining capacity of a battery at a high level for a long time use is provided. The sulfide all-solid-state battery contains at least one unit cell, at least one heat absorbing layer, a battery case which accommodates the unit cell and the heat absorbing layer, the unit cell contains sulfide solid electrolyte, the heat absorbing layer contains at least one organic heat absorbing material selected from the group consisting of sugar alcohols and hydrocarbons, and the heat absorbing layer does not contain an inorganic hydrate.

Sulfide all-solid-state battery

Copper reacts with a sulfide solid electrolyte to generate copper sulfide when an anode current collector layer made from copper, and an anode mixture layer containing the sulfide solid electrolyte are used to compose an anode, and the resistance of the interface between the anode current collector layer and the anode mixture layer increases. To alloy an anode current collector layer to lower the reactivity to a sulfide solid electrolyte, specifically, an anode includes: an anode mixture layer; and an anode current collector layer that is in contact with the anode mixture layer, wherein the anode mixture layer contains an anode active material and a sulfide solid electrolyte, and at least a surface of the anode current collector layer is made from material that contains an alloy of copper and metal of a higher ionization tendency than copper, the surface being in contact with the anode mixture layer.

A main object of the present disclosure is to provide a stacked battery in which an unevenness of short circuit resistance among a plurality of cells is suppressed. The present disclosure achieves the object by providing a stacked battery comprising: a plurality of cells in a thickness direction, wherein the plurality of cells are electrically connected in parallel; each of the plurality of cells includes a cathode current collector, a cathode active material layer, a solid electrolyte layer, an anode active material layer, and an anode current collector, in this order; the stacked battery includes a surface-side cell that is located on a surface side of the stacked battery, and a center-side cell that is located on a center side rather than the surface-side cell; and a contact resistance between the cathode current collector and the anode current collector in the surface-side cell is more than a contact resistance between the cathode current collector and the anode current collector in the center-side cell.

A main object of the present disclosure is to provide a stacked battery in which the unevenness of short circuit resistance among a plurality of cells is suppressed. The present disclosure achieves the object by providing a stacked battery comprising: a plurality of cells in a thickness direction, wherein the plurality of cells are electrically connected in parallel; each of the plurality of cells includes a cathode current collector, a cathode active material layer, a solid electrolyte layer, an anode active material layer, and an anode current collector, in this order; the stacked battery includes a surface-side cell that is located on a surface side of the stacked battery, and a center-side cell that is located on a center side rather than the surface-side cell; and the surface-side cell and the center-side cell satisfy at least one of: condition i) an elongation rate of the cathode current collector in the surface-side cell is less than an elongation rate of the cathode current collector in the center-side cell; and condition ii) an elongation rate of the anode current collector in the surface-side cell is less than an elongation rate of the anode current collector in the center-side cell.

Disclosed is a stacked battery that can flow a larger rounding current in a short-circuit current shunt part than in an electric element when a short circuit occurs in the short-circuit current shunt part and the electric element in nailing, the stacked battery in which an electrical resistance of a current collector tab of the short-circuit current shunt part is smaller than an electrical resistance of a current collector tab of the electric element.

An objective of the present disclosure is to provide a stacked battery that suppresses sneak current caused by an unevenness of a short circuit resistance among a plurality of cells. Disclosed is an all-solid-state battery that makes it possible for a larger rounding current flow into a short-circuit current shunt part than to each electric element when the short-circuit current shunt part and the electric elements short-circuit in nail penetration testing. The all-solid-state battery includes at least one short-circuit current shunt part and a plurality of electric elements, the short-circuit current shunt part and the electric elements being stacked, wherein the short-circuit current shunt part includes a first current collector layer, a second current collector layer, and an insulating layer provided between the first and second current collector layers, all of the layers being stacked, each of the electric elements includes a cathode current collector layer, a cathode material layer, a solid electrolyte layer, an anode material layer, and an anode current collector layer, all of the layers being stacked, the electric elements are electrically connected to each other in parallel, the first current collector layer is electrically connected with the cathode current collector layer, the second current collector layer is electrically connected with the anode current collector layer, and contact resistance between the first and second current collector layers when pressure at 100 MPa is applied is lower than that between the cathode and anode current collector layers when pressure at 100 MPa is applied.

All-solid-state battery with layered current shunt part

Disclosed is a stacked battery including at least one short-circuit current shunt part and electric elements, wherein: the shunt part includes first and second current collector layers, and an insulating layer provided between the first and second current collector layers, all of these layers being stacked; each power generation element includes a cathode current collector layer, a cathode material layer, an electrolyte layer, an anode material layer, and an anode current collector layer all of these layers being stacked; the first current collector layer is electrically connected to the cathode current collector layer and the second current collector layer to the anode current collector layer; the electric elements are electrically connected in parallel; and the shunt part next to the electric elements includes a PPTC layer between the first current collector layer and the insulating layer and/or between the second current collector layer and the insulating layer.

In an all-solid-state battery including at least one short-circuit current shunt part and at least one electric element which are stacked, when the battery is constrained, cracking etc. of the adhesive in the short-circuit current shunt pail is prevented. The all-solid-state battery includes at least one short-circuit current shunt part and at least one electric element which are stacked, to the all-solid-state battery constraint pressure being applied by a constraining member in a direction of stacking the short-circuit current shunt part and the electric element, wherein the short-circuit current shunt part includes a first current collector layer, a second current collector layer, and an insulating layer provided between the first and second current collector layers, all of these layers being stacked along the direction, to be adhered to each other with adhesive, the electric element includes a cathode current collector layer, a cathode material layer, a solid electrolyte layer, an anode material layer, and an anode current collector layer, all of these layers being stacked along the direction, the first current collector layer is electrically connected with the cathode current collector layer, the second current collector layer is electrically connected with the anode current collector layer, and the adhesive is provided for a zone in the short-circuit current shunt part, to the zone the constraint pressure from the constraining member not being applied.

The battery comprises at least one heat absorbing layer, the at least one heat absorbing layer comprising an inorganic hydrate and at least one organic heat absorbing material selected from the group consisting of a sugar alcohol and a hydrocarbon.
