An inkjet head is disclosed, including a nozzle plate, a passage substrate, and a diaphragm. The nozzle plate forms multiple nozzles for discharging ink. A passage substrate joints to the nozzle plate. On the passage substrate, an individual liquid chamber leading to a nozzle, and a liquid supply chamber connected to the individual liquid chamber through an individual passage are formed for each of the multiple nozzles. The diaphragm forms a piezoelectric element which is laminated on a side opposite to the nozzle plate of the passage substrate and includes a lower electrode, a piezoelectric body, and an upper electrode. The liquid supply chamber formed for each of the multiple nozzles is compartmented by a bulkhead from an other liquid supply chamber, and each of the liquid supply chamber and the other liquid supply chamber include multiple ink supply ports.

Inkjet head and inkjet recording device

Disclosed is an inkjet head including a channel substrate; a multi-interconnect structure formed on the channel substrate, including a vibration layer, plural piezoelectric elements each including a first electrode, a piezoelectric layer and a second electrode, and a common electrode interconnect electrically connected to the first electrode including a first common electrode interconnect and a second common electrode interconnect which has a thickness thicker than that of the first common electrode interconnect; and a support substrate bonded to the channel substrate through the multi-interconnect structure, the support substrate being provided with a first concave portion at a surface facing the channel substrate at an area corresponding to the second common electrode interconnect to accommodate the second common electrode interconnect.

A liquid drop jet apparatus is provided which includes a plurality of nozzles to jet out a liquid droplet, a liquid room corresponding to the nozzles, a liquid supply path to supply a liquid into the liquid room, a vibration board to apply a pressure to the liquid in the liquid room, and an electromechanical converter to vibrate the vibration board. The vibration board has a thin region corresponding to a wall of the liquid room and a thicker region thicker than the thin region. An ink jet recording apparatus includes an ink jet head having a nozzle, an ink channel, a diaphragm, and an electrode and a part applying first and second driving signals to the ink jet head.
