The objective of the present invention is to correct deviation in the injection amount and changes in the injection timing when the voltage of a high-voltage source for a drive device decreases. This drive device for a fuel injection device is equipped with a function whereby, when the pulse width of the injection pulse is set to an energization timethat closes a valve after a drive current has been switched to a maintenance current, the injection pulse width when the voltage of a high-voltage source has decreased is corrected so as to be longer than the injection pulse width when the voltage of the high-voltage source has not decreased, and, when the pulse width of the injection pulse is set to an energization time' that closes the valve before the drive current has been switched to the maintenance current, the absolute value of the amount of correction of the injection pulse width is made smaller than when the injection pulse width is set to the energization timethat closes the valve after the drive current has been switched to the maintenance current.

Drive device for fuel injection device

Provided is a control device for an internal combustion engine, the control device enabling the suppression of variations in the amount of fuel injected by injection while the boost voltage is charging, without offsetting the injection timing. A boost circuit () boosts a first voltage supplied from a battery (), and supplies a boosted second voltage to a fuel injection device (). Switches () switch the second voltage supplied to the fuel injection device from the booster circuit on and off. Computation devices () control the switches. Each computation device comprises: an estimation unit that, before the initial fuel injection in a combustion cycle, estimates the second voltage for all of the fuel injection times in the combustion cycle; and a correction unit that corrects the amount of fuel injected for each fuel injection time depending on the estimated second voltage.

Control device for internal combustion engine

At the start-up of an engine, the ignition timing and the air-fuel ratio are controlled to prevent overload onto the volume of ISC air and decreased torque and torque difference. The fuel condition based on the amount of ignition timing correction to inhibit rotational fluctuation during idling is determined and the fuel quantity based on the result is corrected. Right after an engine has started and until a pilot burner is created in the heat spot of the catalyst, the ignition retard control is mainly executed, and at the time when it is determined that a pilot burner has been created in the catalyst's heat spot, the lean air-fuel ratio control is to be executed instead of the ignition retard control. Furthermore, when the ignition retard control changes to the lean air-fuel ratio control, the state transition control is executed along the equivalent ISC air volume line so as not to cause torque fluctuation.

Fuel control device and fuel control method

The invention precisely achieves an air fuel ratio control precision in each of operating regions of an engine, particularly a demand air fuel ratio at a time of an engine transition. In a fuel control system correcting a basic fuel amount in such a manner as to estimate a fuel adhered to an air intake pipe of an engine and an evaporated fuel from the adhered fuel so as to achieve a demanded air fuel ratio, a temperature of a fuel adhered portion is estimated on the basis of an amount relation between the fuel to be adhered and the already adhered fuel, or a heat quantity balance. A fuel adhesion amount and a fuel evaporation amount are determined on the basis of the estimated temperature.

A stepping motor control apparatus for controlling a stepping motor to drive a fluid flow control valve in an engine includes an operation state monitoring unit for monitoring the operation state of the engine; a step position monitoring unit for monitoring a step position of the stepping motor; a first motor drive direction-determining unit for determining the motor drive direction during normal operations of the stepping motor as determined by a target step position and the present step position of the stepping motor; a second motor drive direction-determining unit for determining the motor drive direction during anomalous operations of the stepping motor; a drive pulse-rate determining unit for determining the pulse generation rate to drive the stepping motor; and a drive unit for driving the stepping motor at the pulse generation rate determined by the drive pulse-rate determining unit.
