A sensor terminal which processes a sensor signal output from at least one sensor and transmits the sensor signal being processed to a center device through a network control unit and a communication line, includes a communication interface unit capable of being connected to the network control unit, a sensor input interface unit being connected to the sensor and inputting the sensor signal, and a control unit generating sensor data from the sensor signal input through the sensor input interface unit and transmitting sensor data corresponding to a request signal of the center device which is input through the communication interface unit from the network control unit or active sensor data to the center device through the network control unit from the communication interface unit.

An imaging apparatus include a lens, a first blade slidable between a covering position where the first blade covers the front side of the lens and a retract position where the first blade retracts from the front side of the lens, and a second blade pivotally supported by the first blade, the second blade moving along with the first blade between the covering position and the retract position in response to the slide motion of the first blade, the second blade rotating relative to the first blade in such a way that the second blade more largely overlaps with the first blade in the retract position than in the covering position.

The recording apparatus comprises a first writing prohibition detection switch to be inserted to an discrimination hole formed on both cassettes and receded in accordance with an open/close state of a writing prohibition discrimination hole provided on the current-used cassette, a second writing prohibition detection switch to be receded in accordance with an open/close state of a writing prohibition discrimination hole formed in the new tape cassette, and a cassette type detection switch to be inserted to an discrimination hole formed in the new tape cassette and receded by a side surface of the current-used cassette. A control circuit discriminates a new tape cassette from the current-used tape cassette.

Recorder and cassette containing recording medium

A feedback path () is formed between an output () of a fixed divider () and a control terminal () of an inverting/noninverting unit (). A connection device () is arranged on the feedback path (). The feedback path () is connected/disconnected according to the level of the control signal M from outside, thereby switching the number of divisions. The delay time of the signal given to the input terminal () of the inverting/noninverting unit () to pass through the feedback path () and return to the control terminal () is set greater than the pulse width of the input clock signal. A small pulse input invalidating function is provided in the fixed divider (). Alternatively, a small pulse output prohibiting function is provided in the inverting/noninverting unit (). The fixed divider () divides the clock signal before division from the inverting/noninverting unit () according to the leading edge of the clock pulse of the normal pulse width in the signal (a change point corresponding to the leading edge of the input clock signal).

Variable division method and variable divider

An optical wavelength division multiplexing transmission network system having a star-topology network is disclosed, which comprises an arrayed-waveguide grating type multiplexing/demultiplexing circuit having N input ports and N output ports, and N transmitting/receiving apparatuses, each apparatus including a transmitter, receiver, demultiplexer, multiplexer, and N 2-input and 2-output optical path switching elements corresponding to N wavelengths, so as to cope with a damage to a transmitting or receiving portion corresponding to a specific wavelength. Each switching element is independently switched between first and second connective conditions. In the first connective condition, the output port corresponding to a specific wavelength of the demultiplexer is connected to the input port corresponding to the specific wavelength of the receiver, and the output port corresponding to a specific wavelength of the transmitter is connected to the input port corresponding to the specific wavelength of the multiplexer; and in the second connective condition, the output port corresponding to a specific wavelength of the transmitter is connected to the input port corresponding to the specific wavelength of the receiver, and the output port corresponding to a specific wavelength of the demultiplexer is connected to the input port corresponding to the specific wavelength of the multiplexer.

Optical wavelength division multiplexing transmission network system using transmitting/receiving apparatuses having 2-input and 2-output optical path switching elements

In an image-rejection receiver having a first frequency conversion stage ( ) having a pair of frequency mixers ( ) each supplied external radio frequency signal (RF) and first local frequency signal (LOCAL ) with quadrature phase relations ( ), a second frequency conversion stage ( ) having two pairs of frequency mixers ( ) at each output of each first stage mixer and second local frequency signal (LOCAL ) with quadrature phase relations ( ), and an adder ( ) and a subtractor ( ) for providing sum and difference of amplitude of outputs of said second frequency conversion stage to provide inphase component (BBI) and quadrature-phase component (BBQ), no filter is used for removing an undesirable image signal which is generated in frequency conversion. A control circuit ( ) is provided to keep accurate quadrature phase relations for said first local frequency signal, and said second local frequency signal, by measuring D.C. component of a product of outputs of two of mixers.

Image-rejection receiver

A mixer circuit for frequency conversion operates with low power supply voltage lower than 1 V. The circuit comprises a first pair of N-channel MOS transistors and a second pair of N-channel MOS transistors each receiving differential local frequency signal, and a third pair of P-channel MOS transistors receiving differential radio frequency signal. Each pair of transistors is coupled in series with a parallel resonance circuit which operates as a constant current source. A drain of each transistor of the third pair of transistors is connected to a junction of a first pair and a second pair of transistors and a parallel resonance circuit. An output intermediate frequency signal, which differs between the local frequency and the radio frequency, is obtained at the junction of drains of the first and the second pair of transistors and load resistors. No series connected transistor is inserted between a power source and a ground, and each pair of transistors is inserted between the power source and the ground essentially in parallel with one another.

Complementary tuned mixer

A tape cassette includes a pair of pinch rollers 118, 119 for guiding a magnetic tape T movably provided in a cassette opening 75 of shell body 71. Both ends of a roller shaft 124, 125 rotatably supporting each pinch roller 118, 119 are supported, and there are provided, around middle portions of these roller shafts, receiving portions 120b, 121b swingably holding the pinch rollers 118, 119. Therefore, the receiving portions 120b, 121b provide the self aligning effect of the pinch rollers 118, 119 with respect to the roller shafts 124, 125. Accordingly, it is possible to mitigate the dimensional accuracies and installation accuracies of component parts, and to prevent each roller shaft from being deflected by the pressure of a capstan.

Tape cassette with tape guide support structure

A magnetic recording apparatus for electrocardiographs wherein an input signal is converted into a digital signal, such digital signal is accumulated and intermittently recorded, thereby enabling electric power consumption to be reduced and efficiency of use to be improved. Parallel memories are used to store the digital signal at a first rate and the digital signal is read from the memories at a second rate higher than the first rate.
