A boring cutter body () is inserted into a circular hole () and is rotated and moved in an axial direction, whereby screw-shaped groove parts () are formed by using a tool bit () provided on a tip end of an outer peripheral portion, and broken surfaces () are formed by breaking tips of ridge parts generated by formation of the groove parts (). Moreover, the groove parts () are processed through electric discharge machining using a wire electrode () provided to the boring cutter body () behind the tool bit () in the rotating direction, thereby forming finely roughened portions () having more finely roughened shapes than the broken surfaces ().

Prespray processing method

An electrical-steel-sheet formed body is provided with an opening portion into which a permanent magnet is inserted, and an outer-peripheral hardened portion formed on the electrical-steel-sheet formed body at an outer periphery side thereof for the opening portion and having a higher hardness than a remaining area of the electrical-steel-sheet formed body. The electrical-steel-sheet formed body can be used as the rotor of the built-in permanent magnet type rotary electric machine, and the built-in permanent magnet type rotary electric machine can be obtained.

A stator for a motor is a segmented type including a plurality of stator segments. Each stator segment includes a core segment forming a stator core, a stator winding including a first winding wound in one direction on the core segment, and a second winding wound in the opposite direction on the core segment, and an insulating member interposed between the core segment and the stator winding. A connecting member is formed integrally in the insulating member, and arranged to electrically connect inner ends of the first and second windings to form a single continuous winding.

A three-dimensional object is produced by sequentially laminating a plurality of layers. The method includes setting a plurality of coordinate points at a predetermined interval on a profile of a model section corresponding to a layer to be formed, obtaining information regarding distances between a plurality of the coordinate points, and scanning a photo-curing resin solution with light from a light source, in correspondence with a direction of a straight line passing through mated coordinate points giving a distance shorter than a maximum value among the distances between a plurality of the coordinate points.

Method of producing a three-dimensional object

A method of finishing spray-holes bored by machining in the body of a fuel injection nozzle for an IC engine by removing burrs that remain after machining around the inside mouth of each spray-hole. Employed is electrolytic polishing process wherein the nozzle body is made the anode. A tubular electrode having an insulator cover is inserted into the nozzle body, and electrolyte liquid is supplied through the tubular electrode to flow out through the spray-holes. An end portion of the insulator cover completely covers the tip portion of the electrode and comes into close contact with the inner surface of the nozzle body over an area in which the spray-holes are open. In the insulator cover, liquid passages are formed so as to inject the electrolyte liquid only at the location of the mouth of each spray-hole to thereby prevent dissolution of the nozzle body inner surface in unwanted areas. Accordingly the removal of the burrs is achieved without increasing the volume of dead space in the nozzle body.
