The invention provides a manual breast pump which can be disassembled and assembled easily for cleaning purposes, and which can readily modify a negative pressure during expression of milk generated by a lever-type operating section. A breast pump having an accommodating vessel for collecting breast milk, a breast pump main body, and an operating section attached to the breast pump main body and for deforming a negative pressure generating member installed on the breast pump main body, wherein the operating section has a lever form and includes an engagement opening as an engaged section for engaging with an engaging section provided on the breast pump main body, and the engagement opening is selectively engaged with engaging sections in a plurality of positions provided midway on an extending section erected in a pillar shape as one portion of the negative pressure generating member.

Manual breast pump

The invention provides a breast pump capable of effectively preventing the occurrence of leaking of breast milk from a milk expressing section having an enlarged diameter during expression of milk, and also effectively preventing the loss of negative pressure due to leaking. A breast pump has an accommodating vessel for collecting breast milk; a breast pump main body which generates negative pressure for expressing milk; an enlarged-diameter milk expressing section having an enlarged diameter for abutting against a breast of a user; and a shock absorbing section, at least a portion of which abuts against a breast of a user by being formed in a substantially circular trumpet shape following an opening section of the enlarged-diameter milk expressing section, wherein the shock absorbing section includes an abutting section which abuts against an areola of the user and a tight contact section which makes tight contact with the user's breast.

A flange section can be provided in the base section with a predetermined thickness. A check valve can be formed with a valve body so as to be entirely accommodated within the thickness dimension of the flange, and provided in the base section.

A breast pump can be configured to be capable of easily attaching/detaching a primary side serving as a sealed space which is in communication with a milking space and allows the passage of breast milk, with a secondary side in which a case is connected with a pressure changing apparatus. The breast pump can include a breast pump main body connected to the pressure changing apparatus by a conduit, wherein a milking part is disposed so as to liquid-tightly separate a sealed space (or a space that is in fluid communication with the sealed space), and the pressure changing apparatus from each other. A pressure transmission part for transmitting pressure changed by the pressure changing apparatus can be provided. The pressure transmission part can include a deformable part where a volume in the sealed space can be deformed by a pressure fluctuation generated by the pressure changing apparatus. A case can accommodate the deformable part and be connected with the pressure changing apparatus at one end, and the other end of the case can include attachment structure for communicably attaching/detaching the case with the portion of the milking part that forms the sealed space.

The present disclosed subject matter provides a breast pump in which, by the use of an operation performed by a user, the negative pressure (suctioning pressure) can be adjusted in accordance with the amount of the operation in a linear fashion without the occurrence of a steep gradient, and the negative pressure can be readily adjusted even during the expression of milk.

A breast pump, including a housing container, a breast pump body having an attachment and detachment part, a negative pressure generating member attached to the breast pump body, and an operation unit. The operator can take the form of a lever, and can have an engaged portion that is engaged to an engagement portion on the breast pump main body side and includes an engagement opening formed on one end side of the operator. The engagement opening can include an insertion opening portion that is formed adjacent a bearing portion side and is larger than the outer form of the engagement portion, and a holding opening portion that is coextensive with the insertion opening portion but further toward the tip end side than the insertion opening portion. The holding opening can be smaller than the outer perimeter of the engagement portion.

A breast pump includes a milking port which can accommodate a breast, a storage for storing breast milk extracted from the breast, and a milking unit including a tongue section which can press the portion near an areola of the breast, and is configured in such a manner that the peak of the tongue section of the milking unit can be moved continuously in the direction away from the side of the milking port, and the height of the tongue section can be varied by independent movements of a plurality of sections of a deforming device from the side of the milking port to the inner side.
