An information code, which is displayed on a display medium, is generated by combining a first code and a second code. In each of the first code and the second code, information is recorded by multiple cells arranged in a two-dimensional array. The information code includes: a light color cell; a dark color cell; a central light color cell which includes a central light color region and an outer dark color region, the central light color region being surrounded by the outer dark color region within the central light color cell; and a central dark color cell which includes a central dark color region and an outer light color region, the central dark color region being surrounded by the outer light color region within the central dark color cell.

Display medium, code generation method, and code reading method

A wearable input device includes a pair of ring-shaped signal electrodes and a current sensor arranged in parallel in the direction of the axis of a finger. The current sensor is provided outside an area sandwiched between the signal electrodes. An alternating current signal is applied between the signal electrodes. When the top end of the finger with this device worn thereon is brought into contact with any other body site, a current flows through the current measure point of the current sensor. When the top end of the finger is not in contact with any other body site, no current flows through the measurement point of the current sensor. Based on the measured current, it is determined whether the finger is in contact with any other body site. A command is outputted to an external device according to the result of the determination.

Wearable electrical apparatus

Navigation system, which can improve an accuracy of a travel distance calculation and an accuracy of present position detection even if an accuracy of a pulse data from a vehicle speed sensor is relatively low. The navigation system includes a gyroscope, a vehicle speed sensor and a navigation control portion. The navigation control portion calculates the travel direction based on outputs from the gyroscope and the vehicle speed sensor. When the vehicle decelerates, acceleration during low speed less than Vmin, in which the vehicle speed pulse is not outputted, is assumed to be equal to an acceleration just before the vehicle speed becomes less than Vmin. When the vehicle accelerates, acceleration during low speed less than Vmin, in which the vehicle speed pulse is not outputted, is assumed to be equal to an acceleration just after the vehicle speed becomes to or more than Vmin. Vehicle present position is calculated by estimating travel distances Dist,and Dist,which are estimated to travel during a pulse-missing period at deceleration and acceleration, and adding them to the travel distance Dist calculated based on the vehicle speed pulse from the vehicle speed sensor.
