A damper opening and closing device includes an outer cylinder, an inner cylinder that is disposed inside the outer cylinder, is supported movably relative to the outer cylinder and has a fluid passage therein, and a damper group that includes a plurality of dampers disposed in the fluid passage so that the fluid passage is openable and closable. The plurality of dampers are arranged in a circumferential direction of the fluid passage and disposed in the fluid passage in such a way that inner peripheral edges of the dampers are opposed to each other. The damper opening and closing device further includes an angle control unit configured to control the tilt angle of the damper in conjunction with movement of the inner cylinder relative to the outer cylinder.

Damper opening and closing device

An air conditioning register is provided that includes a case, a downstream fin, a specific upstream fin extending in a direction perpendicular to the downstream fin, and an operation knob. The specific upstream fin includes a fin main body pivotally supported by the case via an upstream fin shaft and a transmission body pivotally supported by the case via a pivot located further upstream than the upstream fin shaft. The fin main body and the transmission body are coupled to each other. The operation knob is mounted slidably on the downstream fin and includes a pair of fork portions sandwiching a transmission shaft portion of the transmission body therebetween. When the operation knob is operated to slide and thereby the transmission shaft portion is moved, the fin main body of the specific upstream fin is tilted.

Air conditioning register

An air conditioning register includes a downstream fin, primary upstream fins, a secondary upstream fin, and an operation knob slidably attached onto the downstream fin. The operation knob sandwiches a shaft of the secondary upstream fin. The air conditioning register has a link mechanism that includes arms and a coupling rod. The arms extend from pivots of the primary and secondary upstream fins in a direction orthogonal to the pivots, and have a pin at the tip of the arms. The coupling rod couples the respective pins. The distance between the pivot and the pin in the arm of the secondary upstream fin is longer than the distance between the pivot and the pin in the arm of each primary upstream fin. The coupling rod includes coupling portions, each of which couples the pins of an adjacent pair of the arms. Adjacent coupling portions are pivotally coupled.

In a non-use state where no beverage container is housed in a housing space, holding claws are urged by a ring spring to an advanced reference position where the holding claws are mostly advanced into the housing space and a bottom plate is urged by a coil spring to a highest reference position where the bottom plate is mostly moved upwardly. When a beverage container is housed in the housing space, the holding claws are pushed toward the radial outer direction of the housing space by the side surface of the beverage container, whereby the holding claws move backwardly against the urging force of the ring spring. Simultaneously, since the weight of the beverage container is applied to the bottom plate, the bottom plate moves downwardly against the urging force of the coil spring, whereby a lock member moves downwardly together with the downward movement of the bottom plate. Thus, since a restricted slanted surface abuts against the lock member, the weight of the beverage container is transmitted to a restricted vertical surface from the lock member, so that the backward movement of the holding claw is restricted.

Cup holder

A cup holder includes a box-shaped body having a holder opening at the top, a supporting arm, an urging element urging the supporting arm to come inward into the holder opening of the box-shaped body, an engaging element engages temporarily the supporting arm at a retreated position, an enabling/disabling element enabling the urging action of the urging element and disabling the engagement action of the engaging element by a pressing force resulting from a container, a fixing element, and a releasing element. The fixing element includes a mechanical mechanism, which fixes the supporting arm to bring it into contact with the container. The releasing element includes a mechanical mechanism, which releases the supporting arm from the fixing action of the fixing element upon taking out the container, and enables the supporting arm to come outward out of the holder opening.

The container holder device includes a rotary body which is fixed to the lid body and held so as to slide up and down with respect to the holder body and so as to rotate, and a guide body which is formed on a side wall of the holder body. The rotary body is engageable with the guide body to rotate, along with the upward and downward sliding movements of the rotary body. Because the rotary body is engageable with the guide body to rotate, along with the upward and downward sliding movements of the rotary body, the rotary body can stably rotate while sliding. Because the lid body will rotate together with the rotary body while sliding, the lid body will move stably between the closed position and the open position. As the results, the moving orbit of the lid body can be made small, and the inner diameter of the storage space can be made small.

Container holder device

A cup holder includes a base, a cylindrical member, an urging device, a locking device, an unlocking device, a lid member, a reversing device, a non-service position, and a service position. At the non-service position, the cylindrical member descends fully, the lid member closes the cylindrical member's top opposite opening, and the lid member's top decorative surface is exposed. At the service position, the cylindrical member, which the urging device urges upward, ascends fully, and the reversing device reverses the lid member so that the lid member's bottom supporter surface is exposed, thereby supporting a bottom of container, which is inserted into the cylindrical member, with the lid member's bottom supporter surface. The cup holder can not only hold a container with a taller height securely but also prevent the lid member's top decorative surface from being damaged by the inserted container.

An air-conditioning register includes a cylinder-shaped retainer, a plurality of horizontal fins, a connecting rod, an actuating member, and a moving member. The cylinder-shaped retainer has opposite upper and lower walls and opposite side walls, which form an outlet opening and an air passage. The horizontal fins have a swing shaft, respectively, and are disposed pivotally about the swing shaft within the retainer. The connecting rod connects the horizontal fins. The actuating member actuates the connecting rod to swing the horizontal fins synchronously with each other. The moving member enables the swing shaft of at least one of the horizontal fins to move back and forth with respect to the retainer depending on a swing angle of the horizontal fins with respect to a horizontal plane.

Register for air conditioning

A center console is provided with a movable console, a guide rail and an actuation mechanism. A rail main body of the guide rail and a lock member of the actuation mechanism lock the movable console against movement. An operation lever is provided in an upper portion of the movable console. The movable console locked by the rail main body and the lock member of the actuation mechanism is unlocked by operating the operation lever along a moving direction of the movable console.

Vehicular sliding console

A sliding structure slidably supports a wheel by a groove of a rail. The wheel is rotatably supported to a movable console through a supporting shaft. The sliding structure includes an elastic deforming portion which is elastically deformed when an overload is vertically applied to the movable console and is restored to the original state when its application ceases; an ascending/descending portion which descends with elastic deformation of the elastic deforming portion and ascends with restoration; and a bottom of a tray serving as a pressure receiving portion, which is provided on an ascending/descending path of the ascending/descending portion and comes in contact with the ascending/descending portiondescended to receive a part of the overload.

Console-sliding structure

A driving apparatus for driving a functional body mounted on a vehicle comprises a power supply, an electric motor, and a driving means. The electric motor is connected to the power supply and is started by a power feed from the power supply. The driving means has a spring motor and is connected to the electric motor and the functional body. The driving means accumulates an urging force by winding up the spring motor by the electric motor and driving the functional body by the urging force. This driving apparatus can automatically drive the functional body, can be manufactured inexpensively, and accumulates a driving force to the functional body without giving burdens to an occupant.

Driving apparatus

An air-conditioning register includes a cylinder-shaped retainer having opposite inner surfaces, a fin assembly including a plurality of fin members disposed in the retainer, a first connector connecting the fin members, a second connector, and a guide guiding the second connector on a predetermined track. The fin members includes paired fin members disposed in proximity to the opposite inner surfaces of the retainer, at least one of the paired fin members swinging by a swing angle smaller than that of all of the other fin members, and functioning as a dummy fin member keeping a constant angle independently within a predetermined swing-angle range where all of the other fin members swing. The second connector connects the dummy fin member and all of the other fin members while absorbing a swing-angle difference between the dummy fin member and all of the other fin members.

A cup holder has a frame portion, a receiving portion and a housing portion. The frame portion has two insertion holes. The frame portion has a holding member for abutting on the external surface of a beverage container that is inserted in the insertion hole, thereby holding the container. The holding member is constituted by a central holding member and an outer holding member, and the holding members are supported to be individually rotatable and to be protruded inwardly from the periphery of the insertion hole, respectively. The arrangement is such that the degree of protrusion of the central holding member from the periphery of the insertion hole and the degree of protrusion of the outer holding member from the periphery of the insertion hole are different from each other.

A vehicular drawer apparatus includes a case installed in an interior member and a drawer member that slides in and out of the case. Energy absorption devices for absorbing impact energy applied to the drawer member in a drawn-out direction are disposed on at least one of the case and the drawer member. The energy absorption devices, which are engaged by a striker, are constructed to absorb impact energy in a stepped manner and to fail sequentially. Due to this, the energy absorption devices are not required to have a high strength. In addition, even in the event that a very large impact energy is applied to the drawer member, the energy can be absorbed.
