A case for an electronic device includes a printed circuit board; a frame capable of storing the printed circuit board; a back board equipped on a back side of the frame, and including a connector for connecting the printed circuit board; rail holders equipped in predetermined positions of the frame and extending from a front side of the case to the back board; and guide rails engaged with the rail holders respectively and including engagement parts capable of engaging with the rail holders respectively, and holding parts for holding both ends of the frame, and extending in accordance with the rail holders, respectively.

Case of an electronic device

A plug-in unit-mounting structure which makes it possible to efficiently mount plug-in units having different sizes in all slots. PIUs of printed board type which are different in size are mounted using respective mounting frames associated therewith. Box-shaped PIUs are also mounted using respective mounting frame associated therewith. However, no guide rail is provided on the metal shelf per se, for guiding each PIU for mounting the same therein.

Plug-in unit-mounting structure and electronic apparatus

In order to detachably mount a module to a plug-in unit while reliably realizing electromagnetic shielding of the plug-in unit in a communication apparatus having a sub-rack and the plug-in unit electrically connected to the sub-rack, the present invention provides a second shield cover member covering a portion protruding from a front end surface of a printed board in an interface part and having a first opening to expose a connection with an outside provided at a front end of the interface part to the outside, the first opening being in contact with a circumferential surface of the interface part and a shield mechanism interposed between the second shield cover member and a front cover member to cover a gap between a second opening of the front cover member and an outer circumferential surface of the second shield cover member.

Plug-in unit and communication apparatus

A PIU plug-in/plug-off mechanism for an electronic apparatus, which is capable of efficiently applying a force required for a plugging-in/off operation of connectors to a printed board by pressing a portion of the printed board close to a backplane. An operating handle of a card lever is turned counterclockwise to thereby bring a push pin into abutment with a rear edge of an open recess. When the card lever is further turned in this state, a pressing force for moving a plug-in unit in the insertion direction acts on an engaging member via an arm. This starts fitting the printed board into a plug-in connector without causing warping of the printed board.

PIU plug-in/plug-off mechanism for electronic apparatus

A communication device which is constructed so as to permit efficient mounting of cards such as printed boards, thereby enhancing convenience and economy and ensuring high-quality communications. A basic unit is constituted by a basic board having a common control section packaged thereon, and a basic back wiring board on which are arranged a basic card connector for mounting a detachable card unit for processing signals and a basic link connector for additionally connecting such a card unit and which has wiring formed on a substrate thereof. An extension unit is connected to the basic link connector to permit additional connection of the card unit.
