There is obtained an inexpensive vehicle electronic control apparatus that is shared by a plurality of inductive loads and performs rapid cutoff of a driving current with low power consumption. On/off operation of a load current preliminarily charges a surge suppression capacitor, which is connected with each of the upstream points of individual opening/closing devices, that are connected in series with each corresponding one of a plurality of inductive loads, by way of discharging diodes, respectively, up to a predetermined limit voltage V; when following on/off operation generates an increment voltage &#x394;V in the charging voltage, a discharging transistor is closed and hence the surge suppression capacitor is discharge by way of a discharging resistor.

Vehicle electronic control apparatus

A fourth layer outer frame protection pattern of a multilayer circuit board housed in a conductive base and a nonconductive cover is in contact with an inner surface of the base via a selection layer, and is connected to a second layer planar ground pattern via a coupling capacitor, outer peripheral portions of respective layer patterns including a first and third layer annular ground patterns are overlapped with each other, and the planar ground pattern is wire connected to a reference ground point of a vehicle body. When the base is conductively attached to the vehicle body, a selection layer is a solder resist film, and when it is non-conductively attached, the selection layer is a solder film, so that the planar ground pattern does not conduct with the base at the time of short circuit abnormality of the coupling capacitor.

In-vehicle electronic device

An electronic component unit of a wire harness includes a substrate on which an electronic component is mounted, a connector electrically connected to the substrate, and a connector fixing structure. The connector fixing structure includes a pair of notches that are provided facing each other on the substrate in a facing direction; a pair of press fitting plates that are provided on the connector and press-fitted into the respective notches; a positioning rib formed projecting from each of the press fitting plates toward the inside in the facing direction, having a width smaller than the width of the press fitting plates, and brought into contact with the substrate while the press fitting plates are press-fitted into the respective notches; and a deformation acceptable space provided adjacent to the outside of the press fitting plates that are press-fitted into the respective notches, in the facing direction.

Electronic component unit, wire harness, and connector fixing structure

A ventilator waterproofing structure applicable to an electronic component unit of a wire harness includes a projected columnar portion that is formed in a columnar shape and that is projected from a wall body of a casing in a first direction, a notch that is formed on the projected columnar portion in a straight line in a second direction, a step portion provided in the notch on a closed end side, and a closed space surrounded by an inner wall surface of the notch and a step surface of the step portion. A ventilation passage provided with a waterproof ventilation filter has an outside opening that is opened toward a closed space in a third direction in the notch.

Electronic component unit, wire harness, and ventilator waterproofing structure

To provide a semiconductor device for driving an electric load to be divided into a plurality of opening/closing devices so that when an abnormality exists in any one of the division devices, that division device can be removed and replaced by an auxiliary device. Each of a plurality of opening/closing circuit units has an upper-side opening/closing device and a lower-side opening/closing device; while load driving is stopped, there is monitored the potential of the connection point between the upper and lower opening/closing devices at a time when any one of the opening/closing devices is closed or both of them are opened, and it is determined whether there exists short-circuit abnormality or disconnection abnormality in each of the opening/closing devices. When abnormality exists, the upper and lower opening/closing devices are removed and the auxiliary circuit is made effective.

Load-driving integrated circuit device

In voltage boosting circuit for performing rapid power supply to a plurality of electromagnetic coils that drive fuel-injection electromagnetic valves, an overcurrent from vehicle battery is suppressed, and continuous noise is prevented from being produced. Each of rapid-power-supply voltage boosting capacitors that are connected in parallel with each other is charged from corresponding one of a pair of induction devices, which are asynchronously on/off-magnetized by first and second voltage boosting control circuits, by way of corresponding one of charging diodes in a pair; when addition value of exciting currents for induction devices in a pair continuously exceeds predetermined value, driving modes of one of and the other one of voltage boosting control circuits are set to large-current low-frequency mode and to small-current high-frequency mode, respectively, so that on/off timing of exciting current becomes irregular even when respective inductances values of induction devices in a pair are close to each other.

Vehicle engine control system

An electronic component unit of a wire harness includes a substrate on which an electronic component is mounted, a connector electrically connected to the substrate, and a connector fixing structure. The connector fixing structure includes a pair of notches that are provided facing each other on ends of the substrate in a long-side direction and that penetrate through the substrate in a plate thickness direction, a pair of press fitting plates that are provided on the connector and that are press-fitted into the respective notches, and a deformation acceptable space that is provided adjacent to each of both sides of the press fitting plates press-fitted into the respective notches in the long-side direction.

A surface-mount component (A) having a pair of connection terminals () with an inter-terminal pitch Ltherebetween is mounted on a circuit substrate (A) having a pair of electrode pads () with an inter-electrode pitch Ltherebetween (L&#x3e;L). Standard position indication marks () are formed on the circuit substrate (A). When heating is performed under a state in which solder non-wetting of the left electrode pad () occurs, the solder applied to the right electrode pad () solder connects the right electrode pad () and the connection terminal (), and the surface-mount component (A) is attracted to the left and is offset or displaced from the standard position indication marks () by an offset dimension &#x3b4;. If the solder is applied to the left and right electrode pads (), there is no offset dimension.

Electronic circuit device

A circuit board is sealed and housed in a casing including a base and a cover, a connector housing including a partition wall is mounted on the circuit board, and an electrical connection between the interior and the exterior of the casing is established. A water-repellent filter is fixed to an inner surface of the partition wall, an outer surface portion of the water-repellent filter is opened to atmosphere via the breath ventilation hole, and an atmospheric opening surface thereof is formed such that the atmospheric opening surface being wetted directly with water is avoided by a poured water blocking wall and water barrier walls. A position where the poured water blocking wall is provided is changed by an insert mold in response to the direction of the mounting surface of the base.

Waterproof type control apparatus

A boost switching device () for generating a boosted high voltage (Vh) includes a slew rate selection circuit (), decreases a selection value (k) to suppress noises when the temperature of the boost switching device () is low, and increases the selection value (k) to suppress a temperature increase when the temperature thereof is high. An internal average temperature of an in-vehicle engine control apparatus () is detected by an environmental temperature detection device (), reference data () provided in a calculation control circuit unit () is used to calculate a relationship between a permissible engine rotational speed (Nk) at which the split injection can be continued at a current measured environmental temperature (Tx) and the selection value (k), and an appropriate selection value (k) corresponding to a current engine rotational speed (Ne) is determined.

In-vehicle engine control apparatus

An in-vehicle engine control apparatus allowing split injection frequency or split injection of fuel while preventing a driving switch element for fuel injecting electromagnetic coils and a boosting switch element for generating a boosted high voltage from being overheated. An operation control circuit portion has reference data of measured environmental temperature vs allowable engine rotational speed with a selected value of the split injection frequency being a parameter, and determines the selected value having, as an upper limit, a split injection frequency which makes the internal temperature of the boosting switch element or a rapidly exciting switch element a predetermined allowable limit value in association with the present environmental temperature detected by an average environmental temperature detection element in a case and the present engine rotational speed detected by an engine rotation sensor.

A case configured with a base and a cover watertightly contains a circuit board, and a connector housing having a diaphragm is mounted in the circuit board so that the inside and the outside of the case are electrically connected with each other; an outer ring-shaped circumferential wall is provided on the outer surface of the diaphragm, and a protrusion portion having first and second ventilation holes is provided at the side surface of the outer ring-shaped circumferential wall; one end of each of the first and second ventilation holes communicates with the outer surface portion of a water-repellent filter provided on the inner wall surface of the diaphragm, and the other end thereof communicates with the inside of a recess portion that is situated at a side of a mating connector and fits with the protrusion portion.

Waterproof control apparatus

A first external tool (A) serially connected to an electronic controller (A) through a pair of communication lines (LANH, LANN) applies a high voltage (Vaa) higher than a normal control voltage (Vcc) to the communication line (LANH) when a program is written. The electronic controller (A) recognizes connection of the first external tool (A) by a comparison circuit (A) for monitoring a received voltage and a write-mode determination circuit (A), initializes a microprocessor (), and receives and stores an total control program (TCPRG) in a program memory (A) based on a content of a boot program memory (). During an operation of the electronic controller (A), the external tool (A) is removed and the high voltage (Vaa) is not applied to the communication line (LANH). Therefore, the electronic control apparatus is not erroneously placed in the write mode.

Electronic controller to be connected to program tool

Upon disposing the connector housing, thinning of the waterproof sealing material due to scraping is compensated by a replenishing end section of waterproof sealing material that is applied to the replenishing inclined surface sections. As a result, sealing performance is improved while allowing for a simple mold construction of the connector housing and the cover without the need for auxiliary seal grooves.

Waterproof-type control unit and assembly method thereof

An object is to prevent a water-repellent filter, which performs ventilation between the interior and the exterior of a sealed casing and prevents entry of water, from being wetted directly with water. A circuit board is sealed and housed in a casing including a base and a cover, a connector housing including a partition wall is mounted on the circuit board, and an electrical connection between the interior and the exterior of the casing is established. A water-repellent filter is fixed to an inner surface of the partition wall, and an outer surface portion of the water-repellent filter is opened to atmosphere via first and second ventilation holes and first and second connection ventilation holes. Therefore, the water-repellent filter can be avoided from being wetted directly with water.
