In a tilting gravity casting apparatus, a die includes a ladle that stores a molten metal and the molten metal is poured through a runner into a cavity of the die when the die is tilted. The apparatus includes a block member for blocking the runner, a pressing pin for pressing the molten metal in the cavity, a controller that controls operation of driving the block member and the pressing pin, and a first molten metal sensing sensor disposed in the runner. The controller is configured to start driving the block member and the pressing pin based on a detection signal outputted from the first molten metal sensing sensor.

Tilting gravity casting apparatus and tilting gravity casting method

A drill press assembly having a base mountable to a work bench, a vertical column attached to the base and a drill head assembly having an electric motor and a quill. The drill head assembly is movably attached to the column. A rack is rotatably attached to the top of the column and is engaged by a crank and pinion mechanism attached to the frame of the drill head assembly which permits the drill head assembly to be displaced vertically and rotated about the column. A tilt table is attachable to the base of the drill press. A locking mechanism having a bolt passing through a longitudinal slot in the supporting base of the tilt table and a transverse slot in the base is engaged by an eccentrically mounted camshaft to lock the supporting base of the tilt table to the top surface of the drill press base. A pivoting frame is pivotably attached to the supporting base and contains a table plate. A fence is attachable to the top of the pivoting frame. The fence has a stopping block to facilitate the location of a workpiece on the tilt table. A work clamp is also provided on the drill head assembly to clamp a workpiece on the tilt table.

A locking mechanism for a planning block comprises a locking part formed on the axle of a planing block, a locking plate which has a combined hole formed with a hole for locking the locking part to stop the rotation of the planing block and a hole for unlocking the locking part to allow the planing block to rotate, and a cover to move the locking plate in the direction to lock the planing block when opened and in the direction to unlock when closed, thereby enabling the planing block to be locked whenever the cover is opened.

A table saw has a circular saw table, a miter table and a supplementary table to form a working table, on the front and rear sides of which two guide rails are disposed slidably with respect to the working table. The miter table has a miter fence thereon whose pivot points are provided at two separate positions.

An automatic planning machine for cutting a surface of a workpiece which includes: a base portion on which the workpiece is to be laid; a feeding device for feeding the workpiece; a rotatable cutter block arranged on one side of the base portion with a rotary shaft substantially in a vertical direction; and a reference base disposed vertically on the other side of the base portion; wherein an upper side of a workpiece feeding path between the reference base and the cutter block is opened. A height of the reference base is lower than that of the cutter block and a top surface of the reference base is held horizontally. The automatic planning machine may comprise an auxiliary reference base which is detachably mountable on a top surface or a side wall of the reference base. The planning machine may further comprise a planing reference base disposed on a side of the cutter block, wherein the feeding device includes rotatable roller members each of which has a rotary axis substantially in a vertical direction, and spring members for pressing the workpiece, and a pressing device disposed in the reference base facing the planing reference base, for generating selectively a pressure which is larger than a pressure of the spring members of the roller members and a pressure which is smaller than the pressure of the spring members of the roller members to press the workpiece.

A circular saw having a table on which a workpiece is laid in which a saw blade whose bevel angle can be adjusted is mounted on an operating arm which may be held in a raised position and a lowered position relative to the table. The circular saw includes a fixed support member fixed to the table, the fixed support member having a pair of recesses each of which has a slanted reception surface relative to a slide surface of the fixed support member; a movable support member mounted rotatably on the fixed support member for supporting the operating arm, the movable support member having a an arcuate guide hole, the movable support member having a pair of mount screw holes perpendicular to the reception surfaces; a stationary shaft which passes through the arcuate guide hole formed in the movable support member and which engages with the fixed support member; and a pair of adjusting screws which penetrate the mount screw holes and which are alternatively held in abutment with the reception surfaces.

An automatic planing machine has two feed rollers on one side of the machine and a stool for holding two pressure rollers which are pressed toward the feed rollers with a pressure force smaller than a pressure force of the feed rollers. The machine has a compact driving mechanism for rotating the feed rollers and further has a feed mechanism for move the stool and a casing for holding the feed rollers toward and away from each together with back-lash preventing means.

An automatic planning machine has a vertical stationary stool functioning to cut a workpiece flatly and a vertical movable stool opposed to the stationary stool. The stationary stool has a plurality of feed rollers while the movable stool has a plurality of pressure rollers. A pressure force by the pressure rollers can be selectively changed over thereby to push the workpiece on the stationary stool at the time of flat work and to push the workpiece on the movable stool at the time of thickness determination work.

A joint machine having a fence and a fence position adjusting mechanism. The mechanism adjusts a vertical position and angular orientation of the fence with respect to a pair of fence supporting members upstandingly extending from a base which accommodates therein a cutter. a hand gripper is provided between upper end portions of the fence supporting members. The mechanism includes a pair of fence fixing means. One of the fence fixing means fixes both the vertical position and angular orientation of the fence, whereas the other fixing means fixes the vertical position of the fence.
