An electric vehicle of the present disclosure includes a first electric motor, a second electric motor and a controller. The first electric motor co-rotates with a wheel when the electric vehicle is driven by only a driving torque from the second electric motor. The controller is programmed to increase or decrease the driving torque from the second electric motor in accordance with a driving state of the electric vehicle so as to shift a vehicle speed out of a predetermined low speed range when the electric vehicle is driven by only the driving torque from the second electric motor and the vehicle speed is included within the low speed range.

Electric vehicle and control method thereof

A vehicular automatic transmission includes a plurality of engagement devices and a plurality of planetary gear sets. Each of the planetary gear sets includes rotating elements. At least one of the rotating elements of one of the plurality of planetary gear sets is coupled to one of the rotating elements of another planetary gear set or one of the engagement devices, via a spline engagement portion. The rotating elements other than the at least one of the rotating elements coupled via the spline engagement portion is coupled to another rotating element or a non-rotary member directly or via one of the engagement devices. The at least one of the rotating elements coupled via the spline engagement portion is configured to be co-rotated with no torque transmitted via the spline engagement portion, when the automatic transmission is placed in a predetermined gear position as one of the plurality of gear positions.

Vehicular automatic transmission

A vehicle control system for improving vibration suppressing performance and acceleration response is provided. A controller is configured to set the torque transmitting capacity of an engagement device to a first torque transmitting capacity that is smaller than a value required to transmit a peak value of a second drive torque applied to an output shaft of a transmission having the engagement device but greater than a value required to transmit an estimated first drive torque generated by an engine, when the second drive torque is amplified by pulsation of the first drive torque.

A control device for a vehicle includes a transmission mechanism capable of setting a fixed transmission gear ratio, a continuously variable transmission provided in parallel with the transmission mechanism, and a path switching mechanism for selectively blocking a torque transmission path that includes the transmission mechanism and that is configured to dampen vibration. The control device further includes a clutch mechanism where the continuously variable transmission and the transmission mechanism capable of setting constant transmission gear ratio are arranged in parallel between an input shaft and the output shaft, that selectively connects torque transmission path stretching from an internal combustion engine to drive wheels via transmission mechanism, and one clutch and other clutch are arranged in series, the other clutch is arranged on a relatively downstream side. A control unit is configured to engage one clutch in a case where torque is transmitted from the internal combustion engine to the drive wheels via the continuously variable transmission.

A power transmission device of a hybrid vehicle comprises: an electric differential portion having a first rotating element coupled to an engine, a second rotating element coupled to a first rotator, and a third rotating element coupled to a second rotator, the second rotator being disposed in a power transmission path including the third rotating element between the engine and drive wheels, the second rotator having a rotor shaft interposed in series in the power transmission path, a rotor of the second rotator being fixed, and making up a portion of the power transmission path.
