A device including: a conductor through which a current to be measured flows; multiple coils arranged around the conductor; a first magnetic body provided to face one of end surfaces of each of the multiple coils and configured to magnetically short-circuit the multiple coils; and a second magnetic body provided to face another one of the end surfaces of each of the multiple coils, configured to magnetically short-circuit the multiple coils, and including through-holes through which coil wires from the multiple coils are passed, respectively, the through-holes being provided at positions facing the other end surfaces of the multiple coils, respectively.

Current detection device and electricity meter

In a watt-hour meter, encodersandrespectively convert a signal concerning a current and voltage used by a customer into a code sequence signal by Reed-Solomon codes or convolutional codes. Decoders, andreversely convert the code sequence signal to the signal concerning the current and voltage. A power calculating sectionconverts the signal concerning the current and voltage into data concerning electricity consumption.

Watt-hour meter

A current detector includes a plate conductor () that is folded in one portion in a longitudinal direction to have two parts parallel to and facing each other having a predetermined width (w) therebetween, so as to compose a looped current path () in the conductor, and a magneto-electric transducer () that is placed between the two parts of the conductor () so that a magnetic sensing axis is parallel to a width direction of the conductor (), of which a length (a) in a direction of the magnetic sensing axis is smaller than the width (w) of the conductor.

Current detector and wattmeter using the same

An electricity meter capable of minimizing a risk of data destruction in case of lightning or surge that involves improperly high voltage is provided. The electricity meter includes a measurement part, an operation part, and an insulation part. The measurement part includes a detection unit to detect electricity consumption of an objective system and a transmission unit to wirelessly transmit data representative of the detected electricity consumption. The operation part includes a reception unit to receive the wirelessly transmitted data and an operation unit to process the received data into data representative of electric energy consumed by the objective system. The insulation part electrically insulates the measurement part and operation part from each other.

Electricity meter capable of minimizing the risk of data destruction from lightning or surge

An electronic type watthour measuring apparatus equipped with an automatic measuring-error correcting circuit. The electronic type watthour measuring apparatus includes: a power-to-voltage (W/V) converter for converting electrical power supplied from a power source into a voltage signal corresponding to the electrical power; a voltage-to-frequency converter for converting the voltage signal derived from the W/V-converter into a frequency signal corresponding to the voltage signal and indicative of the electrical power with an error; a calculator for calculating a difference between the frequency of the frequency signal and a frequency of a reference signal derived from a reference watthour meter while measuring the same electrical power from the power source; and a controller for controlling the voltage signal outputted from the W/V-converter based on the difference in the frequencies of both the frequency signal and reference signal so as to eliminate the error contained in the electric power measured by the electronic type watthour measuring apparatus.
