A display device includes a substrate. A pixel electrode is disposed on the substrate. An auxiliary electrode is disposed on the substrate. A first auxiliary line is connected to the auxiliary electrode. A second auxiliary line is spaced apart from the auxiliary electrode. A top electrode contacts at least one of the auxiliary electrode, the first auxiliary line, or the second auxiliary line. An organic light emitting layer is disposed between the top electrode and the pixel electrode, and is disposed between the top electrode and the first and second auxiliary lines.

Display apparatus having auxiliary line and method for manufacturing the same

An organic EL device having a red light emitting area and a green light emitting area is provided. Each of the red light emitting area and the green light emitting area has a structure such that a first electrode having a light transmitting characteristic and an organic layer formed on the first electrode are stacked, and a second electrode having a light reflecting characteristic is disposed on the organic layers of the red and green light emitting areas. Reflectance of green light by the second electrode in the red light emitting area is smaller than reflectance of green light in the second electrode of the green light emitting area. Reflectance of red light by the second electrode of the red light emitting area is larger than reflectance of red light by the second electrode of the green light emitting area.

A method for manufacturing an electro luminescent element includes a process of forming a light emitting layer and a photoresist layer in this order, on the base substance; a process of pattern exposing and then developing the photoresist layer, so as to the part corresponding to a predetermined light emitting part of the photoresist layer remains; a process of forming a light emitting part which its surface is covered with the photoresist layer, by removing the light emitting layer which is bared because the photoresist layer is removed; a process of forming a photoresist layer on the base substance, so as to cover the light emitting part; and a process of pattern exposing and then developing the photoresist layer, so as not to bare the light emitting part and the end part thereof.

Method for fabricating electroluminescent element

A method for producing an EL element for realizing high luminous efficiency, high light takeout efficiency, simplicity of the production process, and the formation of highly fine patterns. In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the method for producing an EL element uses at least one organic EL layer constituting the EL element patterned by the use of a photolithography method.

Electroluminescent element

The main object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing an EL element for realizing the high luminous efficiency, the high light takeout efficiency, the simplicity of the production process, and the formation of highly fine patterns. In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides a method for producing an EL element wherein at least one organic EL layer constituting the EL element is patterned by the use of a photolithography method.
