An illuminating unit for illuminating an imaging range of a monochromatic camera mounted on a board work machine for working on a board includes a red light source configured to emit a red light, a green light source configured to emit a green light, a blue light source configured to emit a blue light, and a lighting controller configured to adjust independently respective light amounts of the red light source, the green light source, and the blue light source in the same number of gradations within a predetermined dimming range. In the red light source, the green light source, and the blue light source, the upper limit of the dimming range of the light source having the strong light amount is smaller than the upper limit of the dimming range of the light source having the weak light amount.

Illuminating unit

A mounting head is configured to be detachably attached to a mounting device main body. This mounting head includes a storage section having multiple storage areas, and a storage control section configured to acquire multiple operation data relating to an operation of the mounting head individually at different timings and store the multiple operation data individually in the multiple storage areas in such a state that the mounting head is attached to the mounting device main body.

The object is to provide a technique for predicting a time for performing maintenance of optical communication in an electronic component mounting device in which optical communication is performed. A controller in a time prediction process reads the voltage of an electrical signal from a storage section, calculates the slope with respect to time of the read voltage, and based on the amount of decrease with time of the voltage outputted from an AD converter, the time at which the voltage becomes to be equal to or less than a threshold value is calculated. The time at which the output value of the optical signal outputted from the mounting head will become equal to or less than the threshold value is then estimated.

A component mounter is provided with a characteristic value measuring device that measures a characteristic value of first component, and head that mounts each of first component and second component on board. Second component is a digital potentiometer provided with receiver section that receives information from head, variable resistance section for which the resistance is variable, and control section that controls the resistance value of variable resistance section. Head is provided with receiver section that receives information from characteristic value measuring device, sender section that sends information to second component, power source that supplies electric current to variable resistance section, memory section that memorizes the resistance value of second component according to the characteristic value of first component, and control section.
