Provided is an optical component including multiple annular zones that each provides a predetermined phase to a light flux passing through an optical system, where for each of the annular zones, the surface closer to the inner circumference of the optical component is substantially equal in area to the surface closer to the outer circumference thereof, and in a cross section in the radial direction of the optical component, the tangent at an outer circumferential end of each annular zone is substantially equal in inclination to the tangent at an inner circumferential end thereof.

Optical component and imaging system using the same

An image projection apparatus has: a deformable mirror configured from a plurality of micromirrors; an optical system to form, on the deformable mirror, an intermediate image of an image to be formed based on image data outputted from an image output unit; an imaging device; an image comparator; and a controller for controlling the deformable mirror. The image comparator performs comparison between the image data outputted from the image output unit, and image pickup data of a projection surface, the image of which is picked up by the imaging device, and obtains blur correction amount of the image on the projection surface by each divided region of a projection image, and based on the blur correction amount of the image on the projection surface, said blur correction amount having been obtained by each region, the controller moves, corresponding to the blur correction amount, the micromirrors corresponding to respective regions.

Image projection apparatus

To provide an optical component (phase plate) capable of acquiring an image of a deep depth of field or focal position, and an imaging device using it. What is provided is the optical component that includes multiple ring zones demarcated by multiple concentric circles, and is configured to be rotationally symmetric to a center of the concentric circles. Cross sections of the ring zones on a plane being parallel to a direction perpendicular to the concentric circles and including the center have concave or convex shapes. Each of the concave or convex shapes of the cross sections of the ring zones is asymmetric to a centerline of a width of each of the ring zones in a radial direction of the concentric circles.
