Provided is a polycarbonate resin composition, including, with respect to 100 parts by mass of an aromatic polycarbonate resin (A), 0.005 part by mass to 1 part by mass of a phosphorus-based compound (B) having an aryl group, and 0.005 part by mass to 5 parts by mass of a polyether compound (C) having a specific polyoxyalkylene structure, in which: an amount of a compound having a phenol structure produced by decomposition of the phosphorus-based compound (B) 1,500 hours after standing thereof under conditions of 40&#xb0; C. and a humidity of 90% is 5 mass % or less with respect to the phosphorus-based compound (B); and when a weight of the phosphorus-based compound (B) is measured with a thermogravimetric-differential thermal analysis machine under a nitrogen atmosphere, a temperature at which the weight becomes smaller than the weight before the measurement by 2% is 340&#xb0; C. or more.

Polycarbonate resin composition

Provided is a polycarbonate resin molding material, including an aromatic polycarbonate resin (A), in which the polycarbonate resin molding material has: a content of o-hydroxyacetophenone measured by a predetermined method (1) of 1 ppm by mass or less; and a YI value measured by a predetermined method (2) of 1.21 or less.

Polycarbonate resin molding material

Provided is a polycarbonate resin composition, including, with respect to 100 parts by mass of an aromatic polycarbonate resin (A), 0.005 part by mass to 1 part by mass of a phosphorus-based compound (B) having an aryl group, and 0.005 part by mass to 5 parts by mass of a polyether compound (C) having a polyoxyalkylene structure, in which the phosphorus-based compound (B) includes such a compound that an amount of a compound having a phenol structure produced by decomposition of the compound 1,500 hours after standing thereof under conditions of 40&#xb0; C. and a humidity of 90% is 5 mass % or less with respect to the phosphorus-based compound (B).

Provided is an aromatic polycarbonate resin molded body, which is obtained by molding a resin molding material containing an aromatic polycarbonate resin (A), in which: the molded body has a thin-walled portion having a thickness of 0.5 mm or less; the molded body has an o-hydroxyacetophenone content of 1 ppm by mass or less and a nitrogen atom content of 15 ppm or less; and the molded body is free of an absorption maximum in a wavelength range of from 500 nm to 600 nm.

Aromatic polycarbonate resin molding

A transparent cured film including organic fine particles having an ultraviolet absorbing group and an average particle diameter of 1 to 200 nm, the particles being dispersed in a matrix having an Si&#x2014;O bond, and having a transmittance of visible light of 80% or more and a haze value of 10% or less. The coating composition can be produced, for example, from a coating composition containing (1) an alkoxysilane compound or polyalkoxysilane compound; (2) an aminosilane compound; (3) an epoxysilane compound; (4) a polymer ultraviolet absorber; (5) a curing catalyst; and (6) a solvent.

Polycarbonate and process for producing the same

A polycarbonate copolymer having a desirable heat resistance and impact resistance, which comprises a carbonate structural unit of the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein A is alkylidene, alkylene, arylene, arylalkylene, --O--, --S--, --SO.sub.2 -- or a single bond, and a carbonate structural unit of formula (II): ##STR2## wherein X.sup.1 and Y.sup.1 are hydrogen, halogen or an organic group and m and n are 1 to 4, wherein the proportion of the carbonate structural unit of the formula (II) being 2 to 15 mole % based on the amount of the carbonate structural unit of the formulas (I) and (II), and the viscosity average molecular weight of the copolymer being 15,000 to 40,000.

Polycarbonate copolymer

A polycarbonate copolymer having a desirable heat resistance and impact resistance, and a process for producing the copolymer. The polycarbonate copolymer comprises a carbonate structural unit of the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein A is alkylidene, alkylene, arylene, arylalkylene, --O--, --S--, --SO.sub.2 -- or a single bond, and a carbonate structural unit of formula (II): ##STR2## wherein X.sup.1 and Y.sup.1 are hydrogen, halogen or an organic group and m and n are 1 to 4, wherein the proportion of the carbonate structural unit of the formula (II) being 2 to 15 mole % based on the amount of the carbonate structural unit of the formulas (I) and (II), and the viscosity average molecular weight of the copolymer being 15,000 to 40,000. The polycarbonate copolymer is produced by an interfacial polycondensation of an aromatic diol and a fluorene compound, with phosgene or a phosgene derivative in the presence of methylene chloride as an inert organic solvent, the fluorene derivative being in the form of aqueous solution in potassium hydroxide.
