Method and system for transitioning from a first liquid fuel supplied to a combustor of a gas turbine system to a second liquid fuel supplied to the combustor utilizing a fuel pump configured to supply both fuels from the fuel pump during the transition without shutting down the gas turbine system. Through utilizing a fuel pump and adjusting the operation of the fuel pump during the transition, the additional costs, size, and operational complexity associated with multiple liquid fuel trains to facilitate operation of the gas turbine system with multiple liquid fuels may be avoided. The utilization of multiple liquid fuels during operation of a gas turbine system increase the operational flexibility of the gas turbine system by enabling the utilization of varied liquid fuel sources and/or local liquid fuel sources during a steady-state operation, yet utilizing standardized fuel sources for startup or shutdown procedures.

System and method for operating a combustor with multiple liquid fuels

A system includes a modular exhaust collector configured to be arranged in a first orientation or a second orientation. The modular exhaust collector is configured to receive an exhaust flow along an inlet axis, to direct the exhaust flow along a first direction through an outlet when in the first orientation, and to direct the exhaust flow along a second direction through the outlet when in the second orientation. The modular exhaust collector includes an exhaust passage to receive the exhaust flow, a plurality of compressor discharge (CD) ports, a plurality of flow ports, a bottom face opposite the outlet with a first drain, and a first side wall with a second drain between the bottom face and the outlet. Each CD port is disposed a first radial distance from the inlet axis, and each flow port is disposed a second radial distance from the inlet axis.

Turbine exhaust collector

A system includes an exhaust collector tunnel () configured to mount inside an exhaust collector () of a gas turbine (). The exhaust collector tunnel () has a tunnel wall () configured to extend around a turbine shaft () of the gas turbine (). The tunnel wall () has a variable diameter () along at least a portion of a length of the exhaust collector tunnel ().

Exhaust collector conversion system and method

A system () includes a modular exhaust collector () configured to be arranged in a first orientation () or a second orientation ().
