A headrest for a seat may have a headrest body, a support element having a rod end, and a base support element. The base support element is connected to the headrest body and the height can be adjusted relative to the support element using same. The headrest may also have a locking element for locking the base support element in an adjusted height position on the support element. The locking element may have a locking region and an actuation region. The locking region extends perpendicular to a transverse extension direction of the base support element and may be detachably blocked in a locked position. The actuation region extends from the base support element in a vertical direction. By actuating the actuation region, the locking region can be moved away from the bearing opening. A seat having a headrest of this type is also provided.

Headrest for a seat, and seat, in particular a vehicle seat

A system with a pivotable armrest () and a locking aid (), wherein the armrest () is coupled to a holding device () so as to be pivotable about a primary axis () and is reversibly transferable between a use position and a stowage position via a transition position. The armrest () is connected to a connecting element () for rotation therewith. The locking aid () is arranged on the connecting element (). The locking aid () is in frictional contact with the holding device () at a contact point or along a contact surface. The locking aid () is configured in such a manner that the frictional contact between holding device () and locking aid () is greater in a transition position than in the use position and/or in the stowage position.

System with a pivotable armrest and a locking aid

A system includes a pivotable armrest () and a pendulum element (). The armrest () is pivotably hinged on a holding device () around a primary axis (). The armrest () is connected rotatably fixed to a connection element (). The holding device () includes the pendulum element (). The pendulum element () is pivotable around a secondary axis (). The connection element () and the pendulum element () are configured such that the pendulum element () is pivoted into a first position when a force is exerted on the system. The pendulum element () pivoted in the first position interlockingly interacts with the connection element () in such a way that a pivoting of the connection element along a second direction of rotation () is countered. The first direction of rotation () runs counter to the second direction of rotation ().

System comprising a pivotable armrest and a pendulum element

A vehicle head restraint on a seat back is adjustable in height from a non-usage position to a usage position. The head restraint is disposed on a retaining element formed from a U-shaped tubular section and of which a horizontally disposed section forms the axis of rotation of the head restraint. The head restraint and retaining element are coupled by means of a spring element such that a biasing force of the spring element is applied to the head rest, wherein sections of the spring element engage in respective cutouts disposed on both sides in the region of rounded portions of the retaining element, and the biasing force generated rotates a lower end of the head rest automatically in the direction of the retaining element as the head rest is moved from the non-usage position to the usage position.
